Chapter 1336: You’re Stuck With Us!
Villain Ch 1336.
You’re Stuck With Us!
“That’s why she left,” he added quietly.
His gaze swept over the girls, his expression thoughtful.
“That’s why… I don’t understand you guys.
Why do you want me?
Even before you knew I was a Goldborne.
I mean, sure, I won that tournament two years ago, but that was it.
I didn’t do anything after that.
I disappeared.” The girls looked at each other, sharing silent communication before Vivian stepped forward, her eyes locking with Allen’s.
“Because you’re more than what you had, Allen.
You always have been.” Allen blinked, caught off guard by her directness.
“What do you mean?” Vivian smiled softly, setting her glass down.
“Back then, you might not have had money or a famous last name, but you had something way more important.
You had heart.
You didn’t give up, even when everything fell apart.” Jane nodded in agreement.
“You could’ve stayed down after what happened with Sophia and your team, but you didn’t.
You found your way back, even if it took time.
That says a lot more about you than any tournament win or family name ever could.” Shea added, her tone gentle but firm, “And besides, we didn’t fall for you because of what you had-or didn’t have.
We fell for you because of who you are.” Allen felt a strange mix of emotions-gratitude, disbelief, and something else he couldn’t quite place.
He opened his mouth to respond, but Bella cut him off, her voice playful but sincere.
“Also, let’s be real-you’re fun to be around,” Bella said with a grin.
“And let’s not forget how sweet you are.
Even when you try to act all cold and aloof, we see through it.” Larissa leaned against the bar, smirking.
“Yeah, we know the real you.
The guy who always checks if we’re okay, who makes sure everyone’s taken care of before he thinks about himself.” Alice, who had been quiet until now, spoke up, her voice steady.
“And for the record, none of us care about your name or your status.
If anything, it’s annoying that people suddenly want to be close to you just because of it.

Love doesn’t need a reason.” Allen stared at them, momentarily speechless.
“That’s…” He paused, trying to find the right words.
“That’s a lot to take in.” Vivian chuckled, stepping closer to give him a light pat on the shoulder.
“Get used to it.
You’re stuck with us now.” Allen shook his head, a faint smile playing on his lips.
“I guess I am.” Zoe raised her glass, her eyes gleaming with mischief.
“To Allen, the guy who still doesn’t realize how awesome he is.” The others laughed, clinking their glasses together in a mock toast.
Allen joined in.
The rest of the party went by in a blur for Allen.
After his conversation with the girls, he was pulled back into the swirling tide of mingling guests, flashing smiles, and exchanging polite words.
The energy in the hall remained high, with laughter and clinking glasses echoing through the grand space.
He moved through the crowd smoothly.
He found himself chatting more with familiar faces-Evan and Geralt first, who cornered him near the bar with wide grins and teasing remarks.
Evan talked about the food, calling the evening a “culinary masterpiece,” while Geralt teased Allen about his newly minted young master status.
Gerry and Gil joined them not long after.
Allen smiled, laughed, and responded as naturally as he could.
Even Alexander, who had spent most of the night hanging back, joined in their conversation for a while, his usual shy demeanor softening as the atmosphere grew more relaxed.
Elio stood nearby, quieter than usual, but still present.
Allen noticed his occasional glances but chose to ignore them for now.
Whatever lingering thoughts Elio had about their earlier duel or his theory about the Devil Emperor could wait.
Tonight wasn’t the time for that.
Azura eventually made her way over, seamlessly slipping into the group’s dynamic.
She kept things light, engaging in casual chatter, and like everyone else, avoided anything too personal.
Despite her usual teasing nature, tonight she was careful.
She knew what lines to walk, especially in front of the others, and Allen appreciated that.
The evening drew on.
Allen continued mingling with other guests-some investors, a few well-known figures in the tech and gaming industry, and even a couple of influential families Jordan had mentioned earlier.
The conversations were formal yet friendly, most of them centered around the potential of the duel device and future collaborations.
Allen maintained his composure, answering questions confidently and steering conversations away from anything that veered too personal.
Then, as promised, later in the evening, Allen, Jordan, and Emma slipped away from the main hall and made their way to a separate conference room where the reporters had been waiting.
The atmosphere shifted the moment they entered, cameras clicking and pens poised.
Allen straightened his posture, his young master persona falling into place effortlessly.
He had prepared for this-mentally rehearsing possible answers to tricky questions, aware that some reporters would try to catch him off guard.
But he wasn’t worried.
Jordan opened the session with a brief introduction, thanking everyone for attending and emphasizing the significance of the night’s event.
Then, the floor was opened for questions.
As expected, the first few were straightforward-questions about the duel device, its development, and plans for future releases.
Allen handled those easily, explaining the tech in simple yet detailed terms, giving just enough information to satisfy curiosity without revealing too much.
Emma chimed in occasionally and Jordan provided additional context when needed.
But soon, the questions turned trickier.
“Allen, as someone who’s recently revealed to be part of the Goldborne family, how do you plan to balance your personal identity with your new role as a public figure?” Allen met the reporter’s gaze steadily.
“By staying true to who I am.
My identity doesn’t change just because my name does.
I’ll continue doing what I’m passionate about-whether it’s in gaming, tech, or anything else.
Being part of the Goldborne family is a privilege, but it doesn’t define me entirely.” More questions followed, some poking at his past, others trying to stir up drama about his sudden rise in status.
But Allen remained composed.
He knew the game they were playing, and he wasn’t about to fall into any traps.
