Chapter 1339: More Simps Chapter 1339: More Simps Villain Ch 1339.
More Simps He leaned back in his chair.
Despite the chaos of the past few days, there was a certain satisfaction in knowing he had people around him who had his back-even if they liked to tease him endlessly.
Emma, however, wasn’t done.
She tilted her head, watching him closely.
“You know, they did try to discuss it with you about all this last night.” Allen frowned, straightening in his chair.
“What do you mean?” “They tried to call or text you,” Emma said, smirking.
“But you didn’t answer.
Probably because you passed out the second you hit the bed.” Allen winced, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Okay, yeah… That’s fair.
I was dead tired.
I didn’t even check my phone.” Emma laughed, clearly enjoying his discomfort.
“Thought so.
Anyway, they told me some stuff-including the fact that Elio asked you if you were the Devil Emperor.” Allen froze for a moment, his hand still on his glass of orange juice.
His gaze darted to Jordan, whose eyes had flickered with sudden interest.
“Is that true?” Jordan asked, his tone measured but sharp.
Allen exhaled, setting his glass down.
“Yeah.
He asked.
But I denied it.” Jordan leaned back, crossing his arms over his chest as he studied Allen.
“Did he accept your explanation?” “Kind of,” Allen replied, shaking his head.
“But he’s suspicious.
He’s sharp-one of those players who can recognize someone by their fighting style and movements.
That’s why I suggested the agreement about keeping things under wraps.” Jordan nodded slowly, his expression thoughtful.
“Your idea was a good one.” “Yeah.
Still…” Allen said, though his tone was cautious.
“It’s clear he doesn’t completely buy it.
But, as long as he doesn’t open his mouth, we’re fine.” Jordan let out a low huff, glancing at Emma.
“Maybe this is an opportunity.” Allen frowned, tilting his head.
“Opportunity for what?” “I want to see his reaction,” Jordan said, his voice calm but carrying an undertone of intrigue.

Allen’s frown deepened.
“Not everyone will react the way he did.” “I know,” Jordan admitted, “but it’s worth observing.
It could tell us a lot about him-and about the people around him.” Emma interrupted the discussion with a mischievous grin.
“Also…” She glanced at Allen, her smirk growing wider.
Allen raised an eyebrow, already sensing trouble.
“What?” “You know you’ve been in the headlines today, right?” Emma said casually.
Allen blinked, confused.
“The gaming forums?” “No,” Emma replied, dragging the word out for emphasis.
“Headline news.
Real news.” Allen groaned, slumping back in his chair.
“Great.
And what are they saying?” Emma grinned.
“Oh, the usual.
Your life is like something out of a story.
The whole ‘lost Goldborne heir returns’ narrative.
But you know what’s the most annoying thing about it?” Allen gave her a wary look.
“What?” “You’ve got more simps,” Emma declared dramatically, throwing her hands in the air.
“Like, a lot more.
The comments section is wild.
Some of them already knew you from Urban Enigma, some from the tournament, but now?
Now they’re multiplying like crazy.” Allen cringed, running a hand through his hair.
“I guess… that’s good news?” Emma smirked, clearly enjoying his discomfort.
“Good for you.
But it’s annoying for me.” Jordan chuckled, sipping his coffee.
“At least the new device seems to be getting positive feedback, right?” Emma nodded, her grin turning sly.
“Oh, absolutely.
The hype is through the roof.
People are already speculating about when it’ll hit the market and what kind of games it’ll support.” Allen leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table.
“That’s something, at least.
We needed the demo to make an impact, and it sounds like it did.” Jordan studied him for a moment before speaking again.
“You’re handling this well, Allen.
Better than I expected.” “Thanks, Dad,” Allen said, his voice soft but sincere.
Emma leaned closer, resting her chin on her hand as she studied him thoughtfully.
“But I’m still curious about one thing, though.” Allen gave her a sidelong glance.
“What?” “Your family,” Emma said, her tone curious but cautious.
“Not us.
Your old family.
What was their reaction?
I mean, at least they’ll regret it and all-with what they did before.” The mention of his past made Allen pause, his grip tightening slightly on his glass.
For a moment, the lightness of the conversation vanished.
He took a slow breath, setting the glass down.
“I don’t know,” he said finally, his voice measured.
“And I don’t want to know.” Emma tilted her head, her curiosity undeterred.
“Come on, they have to know by now.
You’re literally all over the news.” “They’ve disowned me,” Allen replied, his tone flat.
“Officially, I’m not even registered as part of their family anymore.” Jordan, who had been quietly listening, leaned forward slightly, his expression unreadable.
Emma, however, wasn’t ready to let it go.
“But still,” she pressed, “they’re human, right?
They have to feel something.
Regret?
Guilt?” Allen let out a dry laugh, shaking his head.
“Emma, you don’t understand.
Our relationship was real, but it was under wraps.
Most people didn’t even know I was her son or Evan’s brother.” He paused, his gaze distant.
“Half-brother,” he corrected himself, almost as an afterthought.
Emma frowned.
“What do you mean by under wraps?” “I mean,” Allen said, leaning forward slightly, “to the outside world, I was just my mom’s little brother.
That’s the story we told everyone in the neighborhood.
Only a handful of people knew the truth.
Even then, it wasn’t exactly common knowledge.” Emma’s frown deepened, and Jordan’s jaw tightened, though he remained silent.
“Why?” Emma asked softly.
Allen shrugged, but there was a bitterness in his expression that he couldn’t hide.
“Because it was easier that way.
Less messy.
My mom… she didn’t want the complications.
Didn’t want to explain why I existed or what happened.
So I played along.
I acted like her younger brother, even called her ‘sis’ in public.” Emma’s eyes widened, her shock evident.
“That’s… messed up.” Allen gave a small, humorless smile.
