Chapter 1348: Manipulator Chapter 1348: Manipulator Villain Ch 1348.
Manipulator The table fell silent again.
Red_King broke the quiet, his voice carrying a note of unease.
“You know, we should investigate this.
Dig into what’s really going on.
I’m curious now.” Elio’s expression tightened, his brow furrowed as he tried to piece together all the oddities he had brushed off before.
Memories of Liam and Darren’s sudden shift, their strange excuses, and how they’d always seemed to orbit around Sophia like moths to a flame resurfaced.
He clenched his fists.
“There’s definitely something there,” he muttered.
Gil leaned back in his chair, tapping the edge of the table thoughtfully.
“What about INeedAHotGF?
Did she pull the same stunt on him?
Or is he clean?” Elio shrugged, his voice heavy with uncertainty.
“It’s possible, but unlikely.
He doesn’t live here, only visits once in a while.
I don’t think they’ve had enough time together for her to work her… magic.” Mastercraft leaned forward, smirking mischievously.
“Come on, man.
Ever heard of VCS?
Video Call Sex?
Distance doesn’t mean anything if she’s determined.” Elio grimaced.
“I hate that you might be right.” Allen, who had been watching them with sharp, calculating eyes, finally spoke.
“Whether or not she’s pulling something on INeedAHotGF isn’t your main concern.
She has a problem with you guys, not just me.
And if she’s still trying to drag you through the mud on the forums.
Who knows what she will say in the future?” Red_King exhaled sharply, his frustration evident.
“So what do we do?
Just sit around and wait for her to pull her next move?” “No,” Elio said firmly.
“We don’t wait.
We have to prepare.
If she’s as cunning as she seems, then we need to be one step ahead.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
Document everything-every interaction, every suspicious message, every time she tries to slander us.
Build a case against her.
That way, when she makes a mistake, we’re ready.” Gil nodded slowly, his eyes narrowing.
“Makes sense.
But… What if she doesn’t slip up?
What if she’s too careful?” Allen smirked, his devilish charm shining through for a brief moment.
“Everyone makes mistakes, Gil.
Even the best manipulators.
It’s just a matter of patience and knowing where to look.” Elio’s gaze darkened, his mind still churning.
“You’re right.
She’s already made mistakes.
The question is, how do we use them against her?” Mastercraft leaned back, crossing his arms.
“Maybe start with Liam and Darren.
If she has something on them, that’s your leverage.” Allen nodded, his expression serious.
“Oh, what a good idea.
Find out what’s keeping them loyal to her.
If they’re being blackmailed, they’ll crack under pressure.
But…” He paused, glancing at Elio.
“You need to be careful.
If you push too hard, they might shut down completely.” Red_King frowned, his frustration bubbling over.
“This is so messed up.
Why does everything have to turn into some stupid drama?” “Because people are messy,” Allen said bluntly.
“And when someone like Sophia feels threatened, they’ll do whatever it takes to protect themselves.” Father^Alex, who had been quiet for most of the conversation, finally spoke up.
His voice was soft but resolute.
“So… what about you, Allen?
She’s clearly targeting us, but she hasn’t forgotten about you.
Are you prepared for whatever she might try next?” Allen’s smirk faded, replaced by a steely determination.
“Oh, I’m ready.
Let her try.
I’m not the same person she walked all over two years ago.
Besides… with my new status, I don’t think she could touch me now.
So maybe… she might take out all her anger on you guys.” The table fell silent again.
Red_King tapped his fingers nervously on the wooden surface, his brows furrowed.
“You think she’d really do that?
Go after us just because she can’t get to you?” Allen nodded, his voice calm but firm.
“She’s done it before, hasn’t she?
Look at how she’s already dragged Liam and Darren into her schemes.
If she’s desperate, she’ll find a way to vent her frustration, and you guys are the next easiest targets.” Elio let out a frustrated sigh, his hand raking through his hair.
“Damn it, you’re right.
She’s not the type to just let things go.
I’ll talk to Liam and Darren later, see if I can get them to spill what’s going on.” Gil shook his head, frowning.
“No offense, Elio, but that’s a bad idea.
She’ll definitely suspect something if you go straight to them.
Too bold.
Let me handle it instead.
I’ve got a better shot of making it look casual.” Elio hesitated, then nodded reluctantly.
“Fine.
But be careful.
If she catches wind of what we’re trying to do, she’ll double down.” Mastercraft leaned forward, his voice low.
“What about her current guild leader?
Think she’s got anything on him too?” Allen chuckled softly, shaking his head.
“He’s probably safe.
He doesn’t have enough proximity to her for her to pull anything major.
But it wouldn’t hurt to keep an eye on him.
Just in case.” Father^Alex frowned, his usually soft expression darkening.
“This is so messed up.
Why does she have to make everything so complicated?
Can’t she just move on?” Red_King let out a humorless laugh.
“You’re asking for logic from someone who thrives on chaos.
That’s like asking a storm to calm down because it’s inconvenient.” Allen leaned back, his eyes scanning the room.
“I guess I need to make my exit.
Some players are starting to realize I’m here,” he reasoned.
“Keep your heads on straight guys and don’t let her pull you into her games.” He stood up, the faintest shimmer of his Hiding skill beginning to activate.
As he started to fade from sight, Elio called out, “Allen, wait.” Allen paused, his form half-transparent.
“Yeah?” Elio’s gaze was steady, a mix of determination and uncertainty.
“Thanks.
For everything.
And… sorry for doubting you before.” Allen’s smirk returned, though it was softer this time.
“No hard feelings.
Just don’t screw this up.” And with that, he vanished, leaving the group in a heavy silence.
Mastercraft let out a long exhale, slumping back in his chair.
“Well, that was something.” Red_King nodded, his gaze thoughtful.
“Yeah.
But he’s right.
We can’t just sit here and wait for her to strike.
We need to act.” Gil smirked, leaning back and crossing his arms.
“Let’s just make sure we don’t end up as pawns in her game.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
