Chapter 1356: Chasing After Moans Chapter 1356: Chasing After Moans Villain Ch 1356.
Chasing After Moans Bella tilted her head, her expression thoughtful but mildly disgusted.
“Can a person even get horny when they’re sad?” Shea let out a short, humorless laugh.
“You’d be surprised.
That sounds more like a horny cat.” Larissa glanced sideways at Alice, her eyes narrowing slightly.
“Hey, maybe it’s because of one of Alice’s weird cooking.
You remember what the system warned us about, right?” Alice bristled, crossing her arms defensively.
“Hey, not me!
I haven’t made anything weird.” She paused, her eyes narrowing.
“Blame the game devs, not me.” Allen sighed.
His eyes darted around, scanning for any sign of movement, but the shadows remained still.
Too still.
His heart pounded.
“It’s coming from over there,” he said, nodding toward a cluster of warped, decaying buildings.
“We need to check it out.
But keep your guard up-this is probably the confusion effect.
It might not be real.” The group exchanged uneasy glances but nodded.
They followed Allen toward the source of the sound, their footsteps crunching against the brittle debris scattered across the ground.
The closer they got, the louder the moaning became, mingled with what now sounded like soft, pitiful sobbing.
They stopped in front of a fairly large house-not quite a mansion, but definitely bigger than anything else in the area.
Its unique, almost elegant shape seemed out of place amidst the surrounding decay.
The structure was old, its walls cracked and weathered, but there was something about it.
“Look at those,” he muttered, pointing to the faint, faded lines etched into the stone around the entrance.
“Old magic formations.
This place is definitely something.” “Definitely, Alice’s background story,” teased Larissa with a grin.
Alice could only pouted.
Since yeah…
it looked like it.
“Should we avoid them?” Zoe suggested, her tone only half-joking.
“Not an option,” Allen said firmly.

“Let’s go.” They stepped inside cautiously, the wooden door creaking loudly as they pushed it open.
The air inside was thick and stale, carrying a faint metallic tang that made Allen’s stomach churn.
The interior was dark, lit only by the reddish light filtering through the cracks in the walls.
The furniture was ancient and covered in dust, the once-grand room now a shadow of its former self.
And then it happened.
Out of nowhere, a group of undead launched an ambush, lunging at them from the shadows.
Their grotesque forms moved with surprising speed, their hollow eyes glowing faintly in the dim light.
“Watch out!” Shea shouted, spinning her spear to block one of the creatures.
The girls jumped into action, but the suddenness of the attack left them momentarily off balance.
Allen didn’t hesitate.
He raised a hand, his eyes narrowing as he focused his energy.
“Telekinesis Blast!” he shouted.
A wave of invisible force surged through the room, slamming into the undead and sending them flying in all directions.
They hit the walls and crumbled to the ground in broken heaps, their decayed bodies twitching weakly before going still.
“Nice one,” Jane said, catching her breath.
“But I don’t think these were the ones making that noise.” Allen nodded, his gaze shifting back to the hallway ahead.
The moans were still audible, soft and haunting, coming from somewhere deeper in the house.
“No, they weren’t,” he said grimly.
“Let’s keep moving.” Alice glanced at one of the fallen undead, her expression a mix of curiosity and revulsion.
“What do you think they were guarding?
They wouldn’t just be here for no reason.” “Whatever it is,” Allen said, his voice firm, “we’re about to find out.” They moved carefully through the house, the creaking floorboards beneath their feet adding to the oppressive atmosphere.
The moaning grew louder with each step, the sound becoming clearer and more disturbing.
It wasn’t just crying or moaning anymore-it was pleading.
A girl’s voice, trembling and desperate.
“Please…” The voice echoed faintly through the dark hallways.
Shea’s sharp eyes darting around the dimly lit interior.
“This is seriously messed up.
It’s like every horror story rolled into one.” “No kidding,” Zoe muttered.
“But the real question is: do we really want to find out what’s making that sound?” Allen took a deep breath, steadying himself.
“We don’t have a choice.
If we ignore it and it’s real, that’s on us.
And if it’s a trap…” He let his voice trail off, the unspoken words hanging heavily in the air.
They pressed on, the voice growing louder as they approached a large set of double doors at the end of the hallway.
Allen motioned for everyone to stop as they gathered in front of it.
The glow of faint magic runes danced along the edges of the door, pulsing softly like a heartbeat.
“Those runes,” Alice whispered, her tone equal parts fascination and dread.
“They’re old.
Very old.
Whoever-or whatever-is in there, it’s powerful.” “Fantastic,” Allen said under his breath, his sarcasm doing little to mask his unease.
“Just what we needed.” The voice rose again, a long, drawn-out moan that ended in a sharp, breathy gasp.
“OAH!” And then, just like that, it went silent.
The group froze, exchanging wide-eyed glances.
The silence that followed was almost worse than the sound itself.
“Why,” Vivian finally said, “did that sound like someone just… climaxed?” Bella winced, her brow furrowing.
“I thought so too, but I didn’t want to say it.” Alice tilted her head, her expression skeptical yet amused.
“So… are we on the way to interrupt someone’s good time?
Because if we are, I’m not sure I want to be here for that.” Allen rubbed his temples, his face a mix of exhaustion and disbelief.
“I don’t know anymore,” he admitted, his voice flat.
“I don’t know what’s worse: the fact that we’re hearing this or the fact that I’m starting to believe Zoe was right about Emma having a hand in this.” Zoe smirked, leaning casually against the wall.
“Told you.
The weirdness runs in the family.” “Can we please focus?” Shea interjected, her tone sharp.
“If this is the confusion effect, it’s trying to mess with our heads.
We need to stay grounded.” “Grounded?” Jane said with a laugh.
“We’re standing in a cursed house chasing after moans.
Grounded left the chat a long time ago.” Allen pushed the doors open.
The room beyond was massive, dimly lit by an eerie blue glow emanating from intricate magic formations on the walls and floor.
