Chapter 1373: Not Steam, But Inferno Chapter 1373: Not Steam, But Inferno Villain Ch 1373.
Not Steam, But Inferno Allen lounged on his throne, completely bare, his body sinking into the plush velvet as he let out a slow, satisfied exhale.
On either side of him, Jane and Vivian clung to him like two decadent, sinful ornaments, their damp skin glistening under the dim lighting.
Jane had her lips pressed against his, her breath warm, tasting like honeyed wine, while Vivian traced lazy patterns across his chest with her fingertips, her eyes locked onto his with a gaze that was both sultry and possessive.
Not far from them, Zoe and Shea were slipping back into their clothes, their bodies still flushed from the lingering heat of their turn.
Shea adjusted the straps of her barely-there dress, her smirk smug as she exchanged a knowing glance with Zoe, who was tying her hair back up, her expression that of a satisfied huntress who had just feasted.
Across the room, Larissa, Bella, and Alice had already settled down, their bodies draped over the lounging chairs, tea cups in hand, watching the aftermath scene with mild amusement.
They had all had their turn, after all, and now, with their energy sated, they had chosen to simply observe, sipping their tea like nobles watching a play.
Allen finally pulled away from Jane, his lips tingling from the kiss, and exhaled deeply.
A slow smirk curled onto his face as he stretched out his arms, feeling utterly relaxed.
“Now that’s what I call breaking some steam,” he murmured, his voice low, pleased.
Vivian let out a breathy chuckle, her nails lightly scratching down his abdomen before she rested her hand on his stomach.
“That was more than steam, Allen,” she said, her tone sultry.
“That was fire.” Jane, still giggling, nipped at his neck before whispering against his skin, “More like an inferno if you ask me.” Shea, now fully dressed, placed a hand on her hip, tilting her head at him.
“Well, at least you don’t look upset anymore,” she teased.
Allen let out a slow sigh, running a hand through his tousled hair.
“Yeah,” he admitted.
“I feel better.” Zoe snorted.
“I’d hope so.
With all of us here, if you didn’t feel better after that, I’d start thinking you’re broken.” Allen smirked.
“Oh, I wouldn’t go that far.” Alice chuckled, swirling her tea in her cup.
“To be fair, if I had the chance to de-stress like that, I wouldn’t complain either.” Larissa arched an eyebrow, her fingers elegantly tracing the rim of her teacup.
“Oh, please.
You didn’t complain.” Alice smirked but said nothing.
Vivian leaned closer to Allen, pressing her chest against his arm.
“So, feeling good enough to be yourself again?” Allen exhaled, rolling his shoulders.
“I guess.” His voice was thoughtful, not quite distant but not fully present either.
He ran a hand through his hair, his mind still lingering on the tangled mess of thoughts swirling in his head.
“I know this doesn’t seem like a big deal, but somehow finding out Emma has tendencies like mine feels… weird.” Alice, ever the smug one, clicked her tongue.
“Told ya.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
It’s in the family blood.” Allen let out a half-chuckle, half-scoff.
“Maybe.” He wasn’t sure why it was bothering him so much.
Maybe because, for the longest time, he’d thought Emma was different.
Or maybe, it was because he’d been wrong.
Standing up from his throne, he stretched, his muscles flexing as he grabbed his armor piece by piece, dressing up again.
“Or maybe… maybe I thought she was actually innocent.
That she was different from me.
And then I found out she wasn’t.
And it threw me off.” Larissa, lounging nearby, rested her chin on her hand, watching him with amusement.
“When we stayed in your room and did a lot of this with you, she didn’t comment, she didn’t look shocked, she didn’t even flinch.” Bella sipped her tea, her voice laced with something knowing.
“She wasn’t disgusted either.
Usually, little sisters wouldn’t like that.
Yet, she seemed normal.
Hell, she even ate breakfast with us like nothing happened.
So… I know she wasn’t that innocent.” Allen fastened the last strap of his armor, staring at the floor for a moment before shaking his head.
“I should have known when she tried to seduce me in that restaurant.” His voice was quiet but firm, laced with something dark, something twisted.
“When she didn’t know I was her brother.” Vivian, still draped over him like a lazy cat, let out a slow, knowing hum.
“Yeah, that too,” she mused, her fingers tracing idle patterns on his gauntlet.
There was something almost amused in her tone, like she wasn’t surprised.
Like she had always expected something like this from him, from his life.
Shea crossed her arms, watching him with a look that was both serious and slightly exasperated.
“You know, Allen, I know you’re feeling better now, but you better not forget what I said earlier.” Allen let out a slow breath, running a hand through his hair before smirking.
“About tomorrow, right?
I will.” Shea nodded, satisfied.
“Good.
Don’t make us drag you out.” Allen chuckled.
“If I had to guess, though… you guys would probably use that opportunity to blow some steam again.
In real life.” Zoe, still perched on the edge of one of the lounge chairs, smirked.
“No sneak peeks until the time comes.” Allen sighed dramatically, holding up his hands in surrender.
“Fine, fine.
I’ll take a break then.” He stretched, feeling the satisfying crack of his back as he leaned forward.
“See you guys tomorrow.” With that, he pulled up his interface and logged out.
Darkness.
A moment later, the real world rushed back into him.
The cool air of his bedroom greeted him first.
The scent of clean sheets and faint traces of his cologne filled his senses as he opened his eyes, the dim glow of his gaming setup casting long shadows against the walls.
He sat up, stretching.
His sheets were slightly messy from how he had been lying before logging in, and the soft hum of his gaming setup filled the otherwise quiet room.
