- Chapter 1376 - Chapter 1376 Let Villains be Villains
Chapter 1376: Let Villains be Villains Chapter 1376: Let Villains be Villains Villain Ch 1376.
Let Villains be Villains “So, that’s what happened,” Allen muttered.
He hasn’t had the chance to fully find out Zoe’s background story.
They only know what the prince’s journal they found in the ocean dungeon.
Now, of course, the forum was already losing its mind.
OceanMaster22: Okay, this actually makes me feel bad for her.
She didn’t even attack first.
She literally just existed and they tried to wipe her out.
SilverTide: Wait, so does this mean the prince was a coward?
He didn’t even defend her?
AbyssWatcher: I’d say he was worse than a coward.
He probably knew what his father was doing and still went along with it.
Typical noble trash.
StormCaller: So basically, the Devil Emperor just keeps collecting the most betrayed people in the game.
He’s like a villain magnet.
SeafoamSorcerer: The part about the poisoned waters really gets me.
That’s such a cruel way to kill something.
No wonder she’s out for blood now.
KrakenQueenMain: Okay, but now I NEED to know-how the hell do we actually beat her in-game?
Or is this gonna be another “redemption arc” situation where people try to make her an ally?
LegendaryFisherman: LMAO watch Yora_Cute_Healer jump on this and say she can be “saved.” MoonlitSiren: Can we NOT do another redemption arc?
Let villains be villains.
This lady has every right to drown people at this point.
NautilusKnight: Gameplay-wise, this makes her even scarier.
If she actually has a buff that makes her stronger the closer she is to dying, we are SCREWED.
SerpentBane: I’m calling it now-the prince is gonna be a raid boss later.
There’s no way he just disappeared from the story.
Allen smirked.
This was gold.
The fact that Hell’s Gate actually had these deep villain backstories made it ten times more immersive.

It wasn’t just “bad guys being bad.” Every major villain had a reason to be the way they were.
Allen stretched, feeling his muscles relax as he kept scrolling through the discussions.
At this rate, he wasn’t even mad about not writing tonight.
The forums were too good right now.
Allen had planned to check for just a few minutes, but somehow, time had slipped away like sand through his fingers.
He was about to keep scrolling when he glanced at the clock- Five minutes past dinner time.
‘Shit!’ He cursed under his breath, immediately pocketing his phone.
‘Doom scrolling strikes again!’ It was the same every time-he’d check one post, then another, and before he knew it, boom-half an hour gone.
Allen stood up, stretched, and quickly splashed some cold water on his face, muttering to himself.
“I swear, this forum is gonna be the death of my schedule.” He dried off, shaking his head.
He wasn’t about to get grilled by his dad over being late for dinner.
Moving fast, he headed out of his room and straight to the dining room.
Jordan and Emma were already sitting there, the table set, dinner waiting.
His dad gave him that look as he walked in.
“You’re late,” Jordan said, his tone even but firm.
“Something happened?” Allen sat down and immediately shook his head.
“No.” Then, out of habit, his eyes flicked to Emma.
His innocent-looking little sister.
Who just sat there, sipping her drink with the most neutral face ever.
Allen looked at her for half a second too long.
Jordan narrowed his eyes slightly.
“Allen?” Allen snapped out of it.
“No,” he repeated, maybe a little too fast.
Emma noticed.
Her eyes slightly widened in that way that screamed ‘Wait, what did you find?’ She set her cup down, tilting her head.
“What?” Allen leaned back slightly, crossing his arms.
“I just found out about Vivian’s background story.
The succubus.” Emma’s reaction was instant.
Her eyes lit up, her lips curving into a very guilty-looking grin.
“So what do you think?” she asked, way too eager.
“You like it, right?” Allen stared at her.
Flat.
Unamused.
“As I thought,” he said, voice dry as hell, “this was your idea.” Emma just giggled.
Jordan sighed.
“Emma, what did you do this time?” Emma pretended to look innocent.
“I didn’t do anything,” she said, blinking up at their dad with way too much fake innocence.
Allen scoffed, picking up his fork.
“Oh, please.
You don’t get to act innocent when I just found out that Vivian’s entire tragic backstory is suspiciously your style.” Emma grinned, clearly proud of herself.
“I knew you’d like it!” Allen let out a slow sigh, cutting into his food.
“Liking it isn’t the point.
You planted this, didn’t you?” Jordan raised an eyebrow.
“Wait, wait.
What is this about?
Vivian’s backstory?” Emma turned to him, suddenly excited like she was presenting a school project.
“You know, Vivian!
The succubus general in Hell’s Gate!
She’s part of Allen’s main faction!” Jordan blinked, processing.
“And?
What did you do?” Emma clasped her hands together, clearly loving the attention.
“I may have… suggested a few ideas to the writers back when they were brainstorming for the expansion.” Allen just stared.
He was still holding his fork, but his appetite had suddenly taken a backseat to pure disbelief.
Emma took a sip of her drink, acting like she hadn’t just dropped a bombshell.
“Yeah, I threw in a few ideas.
And they accepted it.” Then, casually, she turned to their dad.
“You agreed to it too, right?” Jordan, who had been chewing thoughtfully, paused.
Allen watched as his father’s brows furrowed in concentration, clearly trying to remember what the hell Emma was talking about.
Then Jordan snapped his fingers.
“Oh yeah, I remember now!” He nodded.
“It was a bit… lewd.” Allen choked on his drink.
Jordan shrugged like this was the most normal thing in the world.
“But, you know, since Hell’s Gate is a mature-rated game, it should be fine.
And besides, it fits the succubus background story.” Allen slowly placed his glass down, pressing his lips together in silent suffering.
‘Yep.
Definitely a family thing.’ Emma, completely unfazed, leaned forward with a mischievous grin.
“So?
What do you think of Vivian’s story?” Allen exhaled slowly.
He didn’t even know where to begin.
