Chapter 1383: I Hope You Step on A LEGO!
Villain Ch 1383.
I Hope You Step on A LEGO!
Allen closed the day by finishing his writing, even though it was just a short session.
It wasn’t much, but at least he got something done.
Better than nothing.
He leaned back in his chair, cracking his neck before shutting his laptop.
His eyes flickered to the clock-late, but not too late.
Good enough.
He shut off the lights and collapsed onto his bed, letting out a long breath.
Tomorrow would be another day.
Another round of whatever nonsense the world decided to throw at him.
And, as it turned out, the nonsense came earlier than expected.
His phone buzzed aggressively against his nightstand, jolting him awake.
He groaned, cracking one eye open, barely registering the time before answering the call.
“…What.” His voice was still rough from sleep.
“GOOD MORNING, MASTER GOLD-BORNNEEEE!” Allen winced, immediately pulling the phone away from his ear.
“Oh, God!
Gerry, tone it down.” Gerry laughed on the other end, full of too much energy for this early in the morning.
“Rise and shine, sleepyhead!
Guess where I am right now?” Allen rubbed his temple.
“If I say ‘somewhere that isn’t my problem,’ will you hang up?” “Nope!” Gerry practically beamed through the phone.
“I’m at the gym, waiting for your lazy ass!” Allen squinted at the clock.
06:34 AM.
He groaned.
“What the hell are you doing there this early?” Gerry gasped dramatically.
“Excuse me, Mr.
Young Master, but someone needs to make sure you PAY FOR YOUR LEG DAYS.” Allen exhaled through his nose.
“You’re bluffing.” Gerry cackled.

“Yeah, obviously.
But you know you gotta get here soon, right?
Otherwise, I’m gonna start making very questionable gym bets in your name.” Allen sighed.
“What is wrong with you?” “Bro, if I start listing things, we’re gonna be here all day.
Now hurry up.
I need a gym bro, and you’re legally obligated.” Allen groaned, but there was no real fight in it.
“Fine.
Give me twenty.” “Fifteen.” “Twenty.” “Seventeen.” “…Fine, seventeen.” “Good man.
Now get your ass moving.” The call ended before Allen could even insult him.
Typical.
He sighed, pushing himself up from the bed.
He ran a hand through his hair before forcing himself to move.
He washed his face, blinking at his reflection in the mirror.
Still half-asleep, but it would wear off.
He threw on his gym clothes, grabbing his gym bag and, of course, his protein shake.
That was non-negotiable.
By the time he made it downstairs, the smell of food greeted him.
Simple, nothing too heavy-exactly what he needed.
Kai had already prepared breakfast.
Boiled eggs.
Allen smirked.
Classic.
Even before he became a so-called “Young Master,” this had been his go-to.
Simple.
Efficient.
He grabbed a couple, eating them quickly and washing them down with water.
No nonsense.
Just fuel.
Kai gave him a look as he walked past.
“Do try not to overwork yourself, sir.” Allen smirked.
“You do realize who you’re talking to, right?” Kai sighed.
“Unfortunately, yes.” Allen chuckled before heading to the front door.
Kai followed him to the waiting sleek black car and opened the door for him.
Allen slid into the passenger seat, stretching his legs out as Kai got behind the wheel.
The car purred to life, smooth and silent as Kai pulled out of the driveway.
The cool morning air drifted in through the slightly open window, crisp against Allen’s skin.
The city was still waking up-early risers jogging on the sidewalks, shop owners unlocking their doors, the occasional honk of a taxi in the distance.
Kai glanced at him through the rearview mirror.
“I assume you will not require a return trip?” Allen smirked.
“I’ll manage.” Kai nodded, already knowing the answer.
“Understood.” The ride was smooth, as expected.
Within minutes, they pulled up in front of the gym.
Kai stepped out first, moving to open Allen’s door.
“Have a productive session, sir.” Allen stepped out, slinging his gym bag over his shoulder.
“Yeah, thank you.” By the time he went inside the gym, Gerry was already standing, stretching.
The second he spotted Allen, he grinned.
“Well, look who finally decided to show up!” “I should’ve taken an extra ten minutes just to piss you off.” Gerry clapped a hand on his shoulder.
“Don’t tempt me.
I would’ve started telling people you were scared of leg day.” Allen rolled his eyes, he knew he was in trouble.
“I hate you.” “Love you too, bro.
Now, come on.
We got work to do.” Allen sighed.
It was too early for this.
But hell.
He’d made it this far.
Might as well commit.
Gerry was already grinning like a damn maniac, stretching his arms like he was about to go into battle.
“Alright, Young Master,” he said with way too much enthusiasm.
“Time to pay for all those skipped leg days.” Allen groaned.
“You say that like I skipped a year of them.” Gerry placed a hand on his chest, looking offended.
“Bro, don’t disrespect me like that.
We both know you’ve been dodging leg day for weeks.” Allen rolled his eyes, dropping his gym bag near the benches.
“Weeks is an exaggeration.” Mark walked past just in time to hear that.
“Oh, that’s not an exaggeration.” Allen shot him a look.
“Et tu, Mark?” Mark smirked.
“Et tu, Young Master?” Allen groaned.
It was clear Mark already knew about his status too.
Gerry clapped his hands together.
“Alright!
Enough talking!
We got work to do!” And that’s when hell really began.
Squats.
Deadlifts.
Bulgarian split squats.
Leg press.
Lunges.
And Gerry?
That bastard was not holding back.
He was counting out every single rep with a level of sadistic joy that should’ve been illegal.
“Come on, Young Master!
Feel the burn!” Allen gritted his teeth, his legs already screaming in protest.
“I swear to God, if you call me that one more time-” “What?
Young Master?” Gerry grinned, adding more weight to the leg press.
“But that’s your official title, isn’t it?” Allen gave him a look.
“I hope you step on a LEGO tonight.” Gerry laughed, completely unfazed.
“Bro, I don’t even have LEGOs at home.” “I’ll buy some just so you can suffer.” Mark, who had been watching all of this with mild amusement, finally stepped in.
“Alright, alright, cut the bickering.
Allen, focus.” Note: Why LEGO?
‘Cause somehow a reader’s comment saying “I hope he steps on a LEGO” was going through my head when I wrote this.
