- Chapter 1385 - Chapter 1385 I’m Not Normal
Chapter 1385: I’m Not Normal Chapter 1385: I’m Not Normal Villain Ch 1385.
I’m Not Normal Gerry groaned dramatically, throwing his hands up.
“Y’all just love bullying me.” Allen leaned back against the bench, wiping his face with a towel before suddenly smirking.
“You know, I have a better idea.” Gerry and Mark both turned to him.
Allen stretched lazily before dropping the bomb.
“How about I just buy the entire gym?” Gerry choked on his water.
“WHAT?” Mark blinked.
“Uh… I mean, this gym is a franchise, so that’d be-” “Then I’ll buy the entire franchise,” Allen said, completely unfazed.
Silence.
Gerry slowly turned to Mark, like a man realizing he was dealing with something way out of his league.
“He… he can do that?” Mark let out a slow breath.
“Supposed to.” Allen chuckled, waving a hand.
“Okay, okay, I’m just kidding.
But-” he gave them a wicked grin, “-I will do it if I have to.
Who knows?” Gerry stared at him for a long moment before shaking his head in awe.
“Damn… I became friends with a monster.” Allen grinned.
“Took you this long to realize?” Mark chuckled.
“Honestly?
Same.
But hey, if you do buy it, at least put a smoothie bar in here.
I’m tired of drinking whatever the vending machine decides to give me.” Gerry gasped.
“And a steam room!
And a lounge with recliners!” Allen laughed.
“You two are unbelievable.” Gerry grinned.
“No, you’re unbelievable.
Bro, I swear, normal people don’t just casually say ‘I’ll buy the franchise’ like it’s a bag of chips.” Allen smirked.
“I’m not normal.” Mark shook his head.
“Yeah, no shit.” They were still laughing when someone walked past them.
Sophia.
She didn’t say a word.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
Didn’t acknowledge them.
Just threw a quick glance at Allen-barely a second-and walked straight into one of the rooms.
Allen raised an eyebrow.
“Huh.” Gerry frowned.
“Wait.
Wasn’t she avoiding this place after what happened?” Mark tilted his head.
“Yeah, and isn’t that the yoga class?” Gerry blinked.
“The hell?
She never does yoga.” They all exchanged looks.
Gerry, as if suddenly remembering something, turned and half-jogged toward the entrance.
He peeked out into the parking lot, standing there for a long moment before heading back.
His expression was unreadable as he sat back down.
“Just for your information,” Gerry said, voice lower, “a car dropped her off.” Mark frowned.
“And?
Isn’t that the usual?” Allen, however, said nothing.
Because he knew what that meant.
That wasn’t just any car.
That car belonged to Mr.
Bell.
Which meant-despite everything that happened at the last event, despite the mess, despite Vivian’s warning-Sophia still had her grip on him.
Allen kept his face blank.
He couldn’t tell Mark about this.
Because if he did?
That meant explaining way more than he was willing to.
Gerry leaned back, rubbing his chin.
“So, what’s the deal?
She suddenly gets into yoga now?” Mark shrugged.
“People change.” Gerry snorted.
“Yeah, and I suddenly love leg day.” Allen smirked slightly at that but didn’t say anything.
He just kept his thoughts to himself, watching the door Sophia had disappeared into.
Gerry, sitting beside him, nudged him with his elbow.
“So?
What do you think, bro?” Allen didn’t answer right away.
Instead, he gave Gerry a slow head shake, his face serious.
It was subtle, but it was enough.
Gerry immediately understood.
Despite all his joking around, he wasn’t stupid.
Mark, however, was sharp as ever.
He narrowed his eyes, immediately picking up on the tension.
“Okay.
There’s something, right?
Care to explain?
Or… should I not know this?” Allen exhaled, leaning back slightly.
“No, not because you shouldn’t know.
It’s just that these are just rumors.
We don’t know if it’s fact or not, so…” He paused for a moment, choosing his words carefully.
“We better not say anything until we have actual evidence.” Mark studied him for a moment before nodding.
“Something bad?” Gerry rubbed the back of his neck.
“Really bad.
So… yeah.” Mark sighed, running a hand through his hair.
“Okay, that sounds fair.” He glanced toward the door again.
“And does that have something to do with her sour mood?” Allen and Gerry exchanged glances before shaking their heads.
Allen sighed.
“I’m not sure.” Mark frowned slightly, his eyes sharp with thought.
“Does this have anything to do with why you took a car instead of your motorcycle today?
I also saw your butler.” Gerry blinked.
“Your butler drove you?” Allen shot him a look.
“Assistant,” he corrected, his tone dry.
“And no, that has nothing to do with it.” Mark watched him for another few seconds before nodding.
“Fine.
I’ll leave it here.” There was a moment of silence between them.
The usual gym noise filled the space-weights clanking, people chatting, music playing overhead-but between the three of them, there was a strange heaviness.
Gerry finally broke it with a dramatic groan.
“Man, I hate this serious shit.
I came here to work out, not get wrapped up in some conspiracy.” Allen smirked slightly.
“Welcome to my life.” Mark chuckled.
“Yeah, no thanks.
I’d like to stay out of the Young Master Drama Club.” Gerry crossed his arms.
“Bro, we’re already in it.
We got VIP passes and everything.” Allen sighed.
“At least let me finish my damn workout before we start digging into this mess.” Mark smirked.
“Fair enough.
Back to suffering, then?” Allen groaned, rolling his shoulders.
“Man, I swear I’m gonna feel this tomorrow.” Gerry grinned like a damn gremlin.
“Oh, you’re gonna feel it right now.” He clapped his hands together.
“Alright, Young Master, let’s get those lunges done.
No slacking.” Allen shot him a flat look.
“You know, sometimes I genuinely think you enjoy watching me suffer.” Gerry gasped dramatically.
“How dare you?
I would never!” Mark snorted.
“Liar.
You love it.” Gerry shrugged, not even bothering to deny it.
“I mean… maybe a little.” Allen sighed and grabbed the weights, stepping forward to start his walking lunges.
“This is why I should just buy the gym.
So I can ban you.” Gerry gasped again, pressing a hand to his chest.
“You wouldn’t!” Allen smirked.
“Try me.” Mark chuckled, stretching his arms.
“Alright, I’m out.
You two enjoy your suffering.” Gerry blinked.
“Wait, what?
You’re leaving?” Mark nodded.
“Got stuff to do.
Unlike you two, I have an actual job.” Allen smirked.
“Damn.
Couldn’t be me.” Mark rolled his eyes.
“Yeah, yeah.
Try not to die, Young Master.” Allen just flipped him off as Mark walked out.
