Chapter 1387: Unnecessary?
Chapter 1387: Unnecessary?
Villain Ch 1387.
Unnecessary?
Allen tapped his fingers against his coffee cup, his expression unreadable.
“I guess,” he said casually, leaning back in his chair.
“And I don’t mind being called a villain.” Gerry snorted.
“Figures.” “But yeah…” Allen continued, his tone growing sharper.
“If you’re asking what I’m actually going to do…” He exhaled slowly, then smirked.
“I’m planning to put her in jail.” Gerry froze.
His coffee cup stopped halfway to his mouth as he stared at Allen like he had just grown two heads.
“For real?” Allen nodded.
Gerry blinked.
“I mean, I know she’s awful, but… jail time?
That’s kinda… unnecessary, don’t you think?” Allen set his coffee down, tilting his head slightly.
“Is it?” Gerry hesitated.
“I mean… yeah?
She’s manipulative as hell, but she hasn’t actually committed a crime, right?” Allen’s fingers drummed against the table.
“Not yet.” Gerry frowned.
“Wait.
What do you mean ‘not yet’?” Allen exhaled through his nose, staring at the ripples in his coffee.
“She’s had too much freedom to do whatever she wants.
She throws manipulation here and there, plays victim, pushes people around, and no one ever stops her.
And I know-I know it’s only a matter of time before she actually does something criminal.
I can feel it.” Gerry watched him carefully.
“So what?
You’re just gonna wait for her to screw up?” Allen gave him a slow smirk.
“No.
I have my pawns.” Gerry dragged a hand down his face.
“Bro.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
That’s insane.” Allen shrugged.
“Is it?” Gerry groaned.
“I mean, yeah!
Look, I hate her as much as you do, but damn, jail?
That’s some next-level revenge.” Allen sighed, swirling his coffee.
“It’s not about revenge.
It’s about making it stop.” He looked up, his expression serious.
“No matter what she does, no matter how many times I tell her to stay out of my life, she always finds a way to come back.
And I’m sick of it.” Gerry frowned, watching him closely.
“Isn’t she better now?
I mean, she completely ignored you earlier.” Allen let out a dry chuckle.
“Yeah?
She’s done that before too.
Acts like she’s moved on, pretends I don’t exist, then boom-suddenly she’s in my business again, causing more problems.
It’s a cycle.
And I know she’ll do it again.” Gerry hesitated, clearly trying to process it.
“But, like… jail, dude.
That’s heavy.” Allen leaned back, exhaling slowly.
“It’s not like I can just make it happen.
She hasn’t done anything illegal-yet.
But yeah.
I’m done letting it slide.” Gerry rubbed the back of his neck.
“So you’re waiting for her to self-destruct?” Allen smirked.
“She is doing it.” Gerry stared at him for a moment, then shook his head.
“Bro, you’re actually scary.” Allen chuckled.
“You just figured that out?” Gerry groaned.
“Man, I knew you had some villain energy, but this?
This is a whole other level.
You’re just sitting there waiting for her to ruin herself so you can bury her.” Allen shrugged.
“Like I said, not my fault.
She’s the one who keeps pushing.” Gerry exhaled sharply, shaking his head.
“Still, this is some chess-master-level patient revenge.” Allen smirked.
“Nothing wrong with patience.” Gerry gave him a long look, then sighed.
“Alright.
I get it.
I don’t agree with it, but I get it.” Allen just nodded.
He wasn’t looking for approval.
Gerry sat back, arms crossed, still processing everything.
His fingers tapped against his coffee cup as he frowned slightly, then he finally spoke.
“Ever think this is too much?” Allen raised an eyebrow.
“Do you?” Gerry paused for a moment before sighing.
“I’ll say yes… but then again, I know it might not be for you.” He exhaled, rubbing the back of his neck.
“I mean… even I’m pissed off at her.
But I can’t imagine if I were you.” Allen leaned back, watching him carefully.
Gerry paused again, hesitating for a second before continuing.
“Look, man, I know how you went through your dark time.
And I don’t wanna be that guy who’s like, ‘Oh, let the past stay in the past, just forgive her.'” He scoffed.
“I know that’s bullshit.” Allen smirked slightly.
Gerry let out a breath.
“It’s just… I was shocked, alright?
I didn’t expect jail.” Allen chuckled, tapping Gerry’s shoulder.
“Thanks.” Gerry grumbled.
“Don’t thank me.
I still feel like it’s too much… but yeah, I guess it’s the only way to get rid of her.” Allen exhaled, about to answer when a female voice came.
“Allen!” He turned his head just in time to see Larissa rushing in from the entrance, her long hair bouncing slightly as she moved.
From her outfit-casual jeans, a crop top, and a loose jacket-it was clear she wasn’t here to work out but to hang out.
She approached them, her eyes sharp with suspicion.
“You made me panic.” She put her hands on her hips.
“What made you suddenly come earlier than usual?” Allen barely blinked, casually gesturing toward Gerry.
“Please meet the culprit.” Gerry grinned, raising his hand like a student who’d just been caught.
“Guilty as charged.” Larissa narrowed her eyes at him.
“And why exactly?” Gerry shrugged.
“Well, Allen owes me leg days, so…” He smirked.
“I made him pay for it.” Larissa let out a dramatic sigh.
“Unbelievable.” She looked at Allen.
“And then you drink coffee after it?” Allen smirked.
“We already drank our protein shake.” Larissa crossed her arms, giving him an unimpressed look.
“Yeah, and then you drank vending machine coffee like it wouldn’t ruin your gains.” Allen shrugged.
“Still alive, aren’t I?” Larissa sighed, but a small smirk tugged at the corner of her lips.
“Barely.” Gerry leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees.
“So… you guys really wanted to ‘hang out,’ huh?” His tone was teasing, but his curiosity was real.
“With the others?
To where?” Larissa smirked.
“If I told you, would you follow us?” The grin on Gerry’s face faded slightly, and he scoffed.
“Do you think I have time for that?” Larissa shrugged.
“Who knows?” Before Gerry could say anything else, Allen’s phone buzzed.
He pulled it out, glancing at the screen before answering.
“Yeah?” It was Shea.
“We’re almost there.
