Chapter 1388: Business Not Villainy Chapter 1388: Business Not Villainy Villain Ch 1388.
Business Not Villainy Allen nodded.
“Alright.
See you soon.” He hung up and stood, slinging his bag over his shoulder.
“Shea’s almost here.” Larissa nodded.
“Nice.” She stood up as well, stretching a little before adjusting her jacket.
Gerry smirked and raised his coffee cup.
“Well then, good luck with your date.” Allen chuckled, shaking his head.
“Thanks.” Gerry watched them as they made their way to the entrance.
“Try not to get too spoiled, Young Master,” he called out.
Allen just smirked.
“No promises.” Larissa chuckled.
“Bye, Gerry.
Try not to miss us too much.” Gerry rolled his eyes.
“Yeah, yeah.
Get outta here before I start charging for my time.” Allen and Larissa walked out just as a sleek black car pulled up to the curb.
Shea was right on time.
Larissa shot Allen a knowing grin.
“VIP service, huh?” Allen smirked.
“Perks of being me.” The car door swung open, and they climbed in, the smooth leather seats instantly more comfortable than anything they had sat on all morning.
Gerry watched them go, shaking his head with a small chuckle before exhaling long and slow.
He leaned back on the bench, sipping his coffee and enjoying the rest of his early morning. He still had time before he had to go to work.
He muttered under his breath, a small smirk forming.
“You really became a Young Master, huh, Allen?” Gerry sat there for a moment, his coffee warm in his hands, the early morning gym noise fading into the background.
His mind drifted-back to the first time Allen stepped foot in the gym.
Back then, Allen looked rough.
Not in the usual “just woke up” way, but in a way that screamed exhaustion, frustration-like he was holding something in, something heavy.
His hair had been a mess, his usual sharp gaze dulled with something unspoken.
He wasn’t the ‘Young Master’ then.
No expensive clothes, no confident smirk, no aura of effortless control.

Just some guy who walked in, wearing old sneakers and a plain hoodie, looking like he wanted to be anywhere but there.
And yet-he clearly wanted to change.
Gerry remembered the first time they trained together.
Allen had been quiet, focused, but every movement was tight, like he had too much built-up tension and nowhere to release it.
He pushed himself too hard that day, barely taking breaks, as if trying to force something out of his system.
Gerry, being Gerry, had teased him relentlessly about it.
“Dude, you trying to kill yourself on day one?” “Shut up and count.” Back then…
He was just a dude who wanted to be better.
Who pushed himself even when it looked like his body would give out.
And now?
Gerry chuckled to himself.
“Now he’s casually talking about buying an entire gym franchise like it’s a bag of chips.” He was happy about it, though.
Genuinely.
Seeing Allen come this far, seeing him actually live his life instead of just surviving-it made all the suffering worth it.
Gerry finished his coffee and tossed the empty cup into the trash.
He was just about to stand up when something caught his eye near the gym entrance.
There was her.
Sophia.
She was standing there, right where Allen and Larissa had walked out just moments ago.
She wasn’t doing anything.
Just staring at the doors.
Gerry frowned, watching her carefully.
There was something unsettling about the way she stood there, unmoving, like she was trying to get Allen to come back.
He muttered under his breath.
“I guess Allen is right… obsession is dangerous.” Because that?
That wasn’t normal.
And yes…It made Gerry understand why Allen wanted her gone.
Inside the car, the smooth hum of the engine blended with the soft chatter of the city outside.
Allen leaned back against the plush leather seat, arms crossed, staring out the window.
But he wasn’t really looking at anything-his mind was still on Sophia, still on the way she had been watching.
Larissa leaned slightly toward Allen, her voice quiet but firm.
“You saw her, right?” Allen didn’t need to ask who.
He just nodded.
“Yeah.
She was spying on me.” Larissa crossed her arms.
“I knew it.
I saw her standing near the entrance before we got in the car.
She was watching you, not just looking around.” Allen exhaled, his fingers tapping against his knee.
“She stood by the door to the gym hall.
She’d been there since the class ended, before you came.
But yeah, she was definitely watching us.” Shea, sitting beside Zoe, cleared her throat loudly.
“Alright, nope.
We’re not doing this.” Allen turned to her with a raised brow.
“Doing what?” Shea shot him a look.
“Talking about her.
Or anything that’ll make you start scheming again.
Today’s goal is getting you to relax.
You’ve been too tense, and we had to get you out of your villain mode.” Allen smirked.
“Hey, why are you making me sound like an actual bad guy?” Zoe, seated on his other side, giggled and poked his temple.
“You should look at yourself, Allen.” Allen frowned slightly.
“What does that mean?” Zoe leaned in, tapping her fingers lightly against his forehead.
“This.” Allen blinked.
“…My forehead?” Zoe sighed dramatically.
“Your forehead wrinkles.” Allen scoffed.
“I do not have wrinkles.” Zoe grinned.
“You do.
And you look like a villain about to destroy the world.” Larissa nodded.
“She’s right.
If you start frowning any harder, you might actually awaken some kind of evil power.” Allen huffed.
“I’m not that bad.” Larissa smirked.
“Oh really?
You were literally plotting someone’s downfall this morning.” ‘Oops…’ Allen crossed his arms.
“In my defense, that was business.
Not villainy.” Zoe laughed.
“Yeah, sure,” she said in a sarcastic tone.
Allen gave her a flat look.
Larissa chuckled.
“We should avoid this topic.
We already agreed today is about making you relax.” Allen sighed.
“Fine.
So what are your plans?” Shea grinned.
“First, we’re having lunch.
While we wait for the others.” Allen tilted his head slightly.
“Vivian’s going to be late, right?” Shea nodded.
“Yup.
But I’ve already made a reservation for us.” Allen leaned back, exhaling.
“Well, at least someone’s planning things properly.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
