Chapter 1394: PTSD Flashback Chapter 1394: PTSD Flashback Villain Ch 1394.
PTSD Flashback Allen set his fork down with a sigh of contentment.
His plate was empty, as were the others’, and the table was littered with remnants of their meal-crumbs, empty glasses, and the occasional napkin crumpled in defeat.
The conversation had slowed into a lazy, comfortable rhythm as the girls chatted about random things: recent game events, gossip from the forums, and the disaster of the last event when Sophia got drunk and made a scene.
Allen leaned back in his chair, stretching his legs with a quiet groan.
His thighs were already protesting, the soreness settling in like a dull, persistent ache.
He let his gaze drift across the table, taking in the sight of the girls.
All of them relaxed, smiling, teasing each other.
Too relaxed.
And that’s when the suspicion crept in.
He cleared his throat, drawing their attention.
“Since, in case you probably forgot-or maybe planned to forget-I just finished my leg day,” he said dryly, his tone calm but pointed.
“I don’t want to end up a cripple in case you’ve got some wild plan to push me to ‘satisfy’ all of you.” His voice remained even, straightforward, not teasing or defensive.
Just realistic.
He knew how these girls operated.
He’d seen it firsthand.
The girls exchanged amused glances before breaking into soft chuckles.
Bella smirked, swirling the ice in her glass.
“Relax, Allen.
The plan is still the same.” Allen arched an eyebrow.
“Which is?” Bella’s smirk deepened.
“To make you relax.” Vivian leaned forward slightly, resting her chin in her palm.
“We know how to push your buttons… or not.” Her smile was playful but her tone held a promise.
“That decision will be yours.
We’ve made some preparations in case you do need it.” Larissa nodded.
“But you’ll still need extra energy for us.” Allen groaned softly, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Yeah.
Great.
That’s exactly what I was worried about.” Shea, sitting directly across from him, grinned.
“You’ll survive.” Allen shot her a look.

“I might.
Barely.” The girls laughed again, and Allen couldn’t help but smile a little.
Yeah, they were teasing him, but they also weren’t pushing him.
Not yet, anyway.
He shifted in his chair, stretching his legs again before speaking.
“So.
Where are we going after this?
Up the stairs?
One of the rooms?” he guessed.
Shea’s grin widened.
“Nope.
We’re taking you shopping.” Allen froze.
His smile slipped.
“Shopping?” he repeated, definitely didn’t expect that.
Zoe leaned closer, eyes glinting mischievously.
“Yup.
Shopping.” Allen’s brain immediately conjured a memory.
Emma.
Azura.
The mall.
Hours of walking, stopping at every single store.
Endless questions about dresses, shoes, accessories… It was like a PTSD flashback.
Allen shook his head, eyes widening.
“Nope.
Nope.
Hard pass.
Forget it.
I’m not going through that again.” The girls burst into laughter.
“Allen, relax,” Larissa said between giggles.
“This isn’t ordinary shopping.” Allen squinted at her.
“Define ‘ordinary’.
Because if it involves me being your personal pack mule, I’m out,” he announced.
Shea grinned.
“We promise it’s not like that.” Allen rubbed his temples.
“I feel like I should’ve recorded that for future blackmail.” “Too late,” Bella said with a smirk.
“We know how to handle you.” Allen groaned.
“Yeah, yeah.” He shifted in his chair again, legs already dreading whatever this ‘not ordinary’ shopping trip involved.
“Okay.
Fine.
I’ll bite.
What kind of shopping are we talking about?” The girls exchanged another glance, a silent conversation passing between them.
Vivian tapped the table lightly.
“Let’s just say… you’ll enjoy it.” Allen narrowed his eyes.
“I don’t trust that tone.” Zoe grinned.
“You’ll see.” He sighed, giving up.
“Fine.” The car ride to their mysterious shopping destination was filled with light conversation and playful teasing.
Allen sat sandwiched between Larissa and Zoe, who occasionally poked his arms or leaned on his shoulder just to mess with him.
Shea was up front with a glass of wine in her hand, occasionally glancing at them with a smug smile, while Bella and Vivian sat across from him, whispering and laughing about something they refused to share.
Yeah, it was a limousine.
So it fit all of them.
Allen stretched his legs out as best as he could.
“Seriously, though.
Where are we going?” Shea turned in her seat.
“Patience, Allen.
You’ll know soon.” He groaned.
“You know I hate surprises.” “We know.” Shea grinned wider.
“That’s why this is so fun.” Allen rubbed his temples.
“Remind me how I got myself into this mess again?” “Because you can’t resist us,” Zoe answered with a smug grin.
Allen chuckled.
“That sounds about right.” The car slowed, and Allen glanced out the window.
They were pulling into an underground parking lot of what looked like a high-end boutique.
When the car stopped, the driver stepped out and opened the door.
Allen climbed out, followed by the girls.
He turned and looked up at the sign above the entrance.
“Velvet Illusions – Custom Wardrobe & Experience” Allen blinked.
“Wait… this is a lingerie store, isn’t it?” The girls all grinned in unison.
“Not just lingerie,” Larissa said, linking her arm with his.
“It’s an experience.
A private shopping event.” Allen’s eyes narrowed.
“For me?” “For us,” Zoe corrected, giving his arm a squeeze.
“But yes… mostly for you.” Allen dragged a hand down his face.
“You guys are impossible.” Bella smiled sweetly.
“And yet… here you are.” Allen sighed.
“Yeah.
Here I am.” The group headed inside, and the moment the doors closed behind them, they were met with the scent of vanilla and sandalwood.
The lighting was soft, the music a low, sensual hum.
A woman in a sleek black dress approached, giving them a polite, knowing smile.
“Welcome to Velvet Illusions.
Your private suite is ready.” Allen’s stomach dropped.
“Oh, no.” Vivian leaned closer.
“Oh, yes.” Allen groaned.
“My legs are already dead.
Why are you like this?” Shea patted his shoulder.
“Relax, Allen.
Like we said… this is all about you.” As they followed the attendant into the private suite, Allen couldn’t help but mutter under his breath.
“I should’ve taken a nap instead.” The girls heard him.
And laughed.
Loudly.
