Chapter 1423: Weaklings Chapter 1423: Weaklings Villain Ch 1423.
Weaklings Sophia’s HP bar hit zero.
Her vision blurred, colors fading into black and gray, her body frozen in place.
But it wasn’t instant.
It was never instant.
The death delay timer kicked in-those agonizing few seconds before she was forcefully ripped back to her save point.
And in that time, she could still see everything.
Still hear everything.
Still feel everything.
Her body lay crumpled on the ground, her limbs bent at odd angles, her expression frozen in a mix of rage and humiliation.
Dead.
Beaten.
Completely, utterly powerless… Sophia had died in battles before, but never like this.
Never this pathetic.
Never like a dog.
Her fists clenched at her sides-or at least they would have if she still had control of her body.
But she didn’t.
All she could do was seethe in silence, her rage bubbling beneath the surface.
But was she angry at herself?
No.
She was furious at this incompetent guild.
She had fallen so low.
From The Order of Valiance-a top guild, one of the strongest, Elio’s guild, a place where every single member could at least hold their own in a real fight- To this.
A pathetic excuse for a guild that couldn’t even hold the villains for five minutes.
Five minutes!
Not even a decent battle.
Not even a chance to show off.
Just-one attack.
One single, merciless attack from the Devil Emperor, and they were gone.
Obliterated.

They didn’t even dodge.
They didn’t even try.
Sophia wanted to scream.
This wasn’t like the battle along with Elio, Red_King, Arcana, or any of the top players-those battles had been glorious.
Those players knew how to fight.
They could dodge, counter, and they could actually put up a real challenge.
They had given her room to fight, room to shine, room to make herself look good.
But these fools?
These weaklings?
They had been nothing more than fodder.
She had been dragged down with them.
And now, she was here, humiliated, dying like a worthless nobody.
A shadow loomed over her.
Her stomach dropped.
Slow, deliberate footsteps approached.
He crouched in front of her.
The Devil Emperor.
His crimson eyes locked onto hers, piercing, cold, yet burning with amusement.
An evil smirk curled on his lips.
And then, in a voice dripping with mockery and disdain, he murmured, “It seems without your ‘knights,’ you are nothing, little kitten.” Sophia’s rage exploded.
Her lips twitched, but she couldn’t speak.
Her body was locked, frozen in that paralysis of death, only able to watch, only able to listen, her entire being seething with fury.
Allen let out a low chuckle, his smirk widening.
“Shame,” Vivian sighed, standing beside him, tilting her head as she looked down at Sophia’s corpse.
“I thought she’d put up more of a fight.” “Right?” Bella huffed, crossing her arms.
“She acted so high and mighty, but the moment we actually fought, she crumbled.” Shea clicked her tongue, her wings fluttering slightly.
“Tch.
Disappointing.” Zoe leaned closer, peering down at Sophia’s lifeless form, grinning.
“You know, I expected her to at least try something smart.
Like, I don’t know, run earlier?
Or maybe didn’t try to ambush us at all?” Alice laughed.
“Please.
That would require self-awareness.” Larissa smirked, kneeling beside Allen, her gaze playful yet condescending.
“Do you think she regrets it now?
Thinking she could beat us?” Jane tapped her chin thoughtfully.
“I don’t know… she doesn’t seem the type to learn from her mistakes.” The girls all laughed.
Sophia’s blood boiled.
She was trapped.
Forced to listen, forced to endure their mockery without a single way to fight back.
Allen reached out, tapping the side of Sophia’s frozen cheek lightly, as if examining a broken toy.
Then, with a smirk, he leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a mocking whisper.
“Next time, bring someone who can actually fight.” Darkness swallowed her whole.
Her corpse vanished, her body forcibly dragged back to her save point.
The next thing she knew-she was back.
The cold, suffocating darkness of death faded, replaced by the warm glow of Ront City’s gate.
The hum of players filled the air-merchants shouting their wares, adventurers chatting by the fountain, the distant clang of blacksmiths hammering weapons in the forges.
The sight was familiar, but it felt wrong.
Because she shouldn’t have respawned here.
Then she remembered.
She had changed her save point.
No longer part of Elio’s guild, no longer bound to The Order of Valiance’s stronghold.
She had lost that privilege the moment she walked away.
Her grip tightened on her staff.
A hollow laugh escaped her lips.
“Right.
I really did fall this low.” [Guild Chat – Arcane Wardens] Lena: Well, that went horribly.
Darius: LMAO I died before I could even use a skill.
Cymor: Bro, I blinked and I was already a ghost.
Vexor: Imagine how I feel.
I was casting Meteor Rain, and before it could even drop, I was dead.
Lena: HAHAHA I SAW THAT.
You literally had your hands up like an idiot.
Kael: Enough.
That was a complete disaster.
Darius: No sh*t, Sherlock.
Cymor: Look, I know we got wrecked, but can we at least appreciate the fact that we fought the actual Devil Emperor?
Like, we’re part of history now.
Lena: Yeah, part of a history book titled ‘Top 10 Most Embarrassing Guild Wipes.’ Vexor: I’m telling my future kids about this.
‘Your dad once fought the Devil Emperor and died in 0.2 seconds.’ Darius: Bro we weren’t even a speed bump.
We were f*cking road dust.
Cymor: RIP Arcane Wardens 2025-2025.
Gone but never forgotten.
Lena: Actually, we’re VERY forgotten.
Kael: Stop joking around.
This was humiliating.
Sophia stared at the chat.
But she didn’t reply.
She didn’t feel like joking.
She didn’t feel like anything.
She just sat down on the nearest bench, ignoring the fact that she could use a healing spell to recover.
Instead, she let her HP slowly regenerate.
Because she needed time to process it.”…He’s right,” she muttered under her breath.
Her stomach twisted.
“This is pathetic.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
