Chapter 1425: Fodder Chapter 1425: Fodder Villain Ch 1425.
Fodder She gritted her teeth so hard her jaw hurt.
This wasn’t fair.
They had moved on without her.
They didn’t need her.
They didn’t even mention her.
Like she was nothing.
Like she had never mattered.
Her hands trembled.
She wanted to scream, to throw something, to do anything but just sit there, feeling like she had just lost everything.
The world around her felt distant, like she wasn’t even part of the game anymore-just a spectator watching other players thrive while she wallowed in frustration.
She had been at the top, standing alongside the best players in the game, hunting bosses, leading raids, basking in the spotlight.
Now?
Now she was nobody.
Her lips curled into a bitter sneer, fingers drumming against her staff.
“Excuse me, miss priestess?” A voice-timid, uncertain, suddenly sounded.
Her mood instantly soured.
Sophia turned her gaze, her glare sharp as a blade.
Two players stood before her-both low level, barely past the starting phase.
One was a swordsman, his armor cheap and mismatched, a dull bronze blade strapped to his back.
The other was a dual dagger user, his gear equally unimpressive, his face half-hidden under a hood.
She could tell just by looking at them-they were weak.
Nothing but fodder.
The swordsman shifted awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Uh… We were wondering if you could give us some buffs and a quick heal?” The rogue nodded quickly, clearly the more anxious of the two.
“Yeah!
Just a small one!
We’re heading to the hunting fields, and we kinda need the boost.” Sophia’s expression darkened.
She wasn’t in the mood.
Not for some random nobodies asking for her time, her skills, like she was some low-tier support NPC.

She had been a legend.
She had fought with Elio, with Red_King, with Arcana.
And now?
Now she was being bothered by some weaklings who wouldn’t last two minutes in a proper fight?
Her fingers tightened around her staff.
“Get lost.” The words came out cold, sharp.
The two players froze, blinking in surprise.
The swordsman frowned.
“Wha-?” “You heard me,” she snapped.
“Go ask someone else.
I’m not wasting my mana on lowbies.” The rogue flinched.
“B-But we-” Sophia’s glare hardened.
“Did I stutter?” The swordsman clenched his jaw, his face darkening with irritation, but he said nothing.
The rogue looked like he wanted to argue but quickly backed down, tugging on his friend’s sleeve.
“Forget it.
Let’s go.” Without another word, they turned away, their steps stiff, unhappy.
Sophia didn’t care.
She watched them leave, her mood still sour, but at least now she wouldn’t have to deal with their annoying presence.
A different voice came.
“Here you go.
Agility Buff, Protection Buff and Holy Blessing.” Sophia’s brow furrowed.
She turned her head toward the source of the voice.
The two low-level players had stopped near a merchant stall, speaking to another high priest-one wearing a white robe lined with gold, his staff resting lightly in his hands.
Sophia’s stomach twisted.
She recognized that player model instantly.
Even before she heard the name.
Father^Alex.
Her grip tightened, her teeth grinding together.
The rogue grinned at Father^Alex, his mood instantly lifted.
“Thanks, man!
You’re seriously the best.” “Yeah, you’re just like they say,” the swordsman added.
“Kind, like Father^Alex himself.” Father^Alex blinked, startled.
He seemed genuinely flustered, his grip shifting on his staff.
“Ah-uhm… I’m just doing my job.” Sophia’s eye twitched.
Kind?
Like Father^Alex himself?
The way they said it-like it was some legendary title.
Like he was the standard of what a high priest should be.
The one people admired.
The one player respected.
She couldn’t look away, her heart pounding with pure frustration.
It was him.
The one who took her spotlight.
And worst of all- He didn’t even seem to want it!
Father^Alex simply gave a small nod as the two players thanked him again before running off, their energy light and carefree.
He exhaled softly, adjusting his grip on his staff.
But he felt it.
That gaze.
Burning.
Intense.
Unforgiving.
Slowly, he turned his head-and met her eyes.
Sophia.
She sat on the nearby bench, her back rigid, her expression twisted into something between fury and disgust.
Her glare was sharp enough to cut through steel.
Father^Alex’s fingers twitched slightly over his staff, but his face remained calm.
Because he knew.
He knew exactly why she was looking at him like that.
She hated him.
Not because of anything he had done, but because of what he represented.
Sophia’s nails dug into the wood of the bench, her grip so tight her knuckles turned white.
It wasn’t fair.
He wasn’t even good at this.
She had worked so hard to be the best healer in the game, and this meek, quiet, nobody had taken everything from her without even trying.
But then- A massive figure stepped in between them.
Sophia’s glare snapped upward, irritation spiking as her view of Father^Alex was suddenly blocked.
Mastercraft.
He stood before her, arms crossed, his expression unreadable.
But his eyes said it all ‘What’s your problem?’ Sophia’s jaw locked.
Her grip tightened even further.
She wanted to say something.
She wanted to demand why he was standing in front of her like she was the villain here.
But she didn’t get the chance.
“Here you are,” a new voice cut in.
A smooth, casual tone, but one that held authority.
Sophia turned her head just as Red_King approached, his crimson cloak shifting with his movements, his usual confident smirk playing on his lips.
“Let’s go,” he said, jerking his thumb over his shoulder.
“We need to strategize for the next raid.” Sophia stiffened.
Red_King barely spared her a glance.
As if she didn’t exist.
As if this stupid staring contest with Father^Alex wasn’t even worth acknowledging.
Mastercraft simply grunted, giving her one last unreadable look before turning away, his attention shifting instantly to Red_King.
Sophia watched them go, her entire body burning with rage.
Just like that.
They walked away.
