Chapter 1445: I Deserve Some Headpats
Villain Ch 1445. I Deserve Some Headpats
Shea exhaled, crossing her arms. “Well, damn. I was expecting something dramatic, but nope, you just erased her.”
Zoe snorted. “Yeah. No speeches. No remorse. Just ‘die’ and boom, gone.”
Jane tilted her head, watching Alice curiously. “…You okay?”
Alice paused, glancing at the empty space where her past had just been erased. Then she closed the grimoire, tucking it into her inventory. “Yeah. I’m good.”
Bella raised an eyebrow. “You sure? Because I feel like we just watched you murder your own ghost.”
Alice stood still. Her eyes lingered on where her grudge had been, where the last remnant of her past self had shattered into nothingness.
For a second, it looked like she was going to brush it off. That usual lazy smirk, the playful sarcasm—everyone expected her to roll her eyes and move on.
Instead— She scowled.
Her shoulders tensed, her brows furrowed, and something in her expression twisted in a way that didn’t quite match the Alice they knew.
Then— Her lips wobbled.
“No…” Her voice came out small, almost a whine. “I’m not okay.”
And then, without warning— Alice walked straight to Allen, wrapped her arms around him, and hugged him tight. She buried her face into his chest, her grip firm but not desperate, like she had every intention of staying there for a while.
Allen blinked.
Once.
Twice.
“…Huh?”
She tilted her head up slightly, her eyes peering up at him, looking miserable. “Did you see her?”
Allen exhaled slowly. “Yeah. We all did.”
Alice sniffed dramatically, pressing her forehead against his chest. “She was so pitiful.”
Allen’s crimson gaze narrowed slightly, studying her. He could hear something off in her voice—like a mix of genuine emotion and something… else.
Alice wasn’t really crying.
But she was definitely playing something up.
A second passed.
Then another.
Then— Alice let out another sniffle, sounding suspiciously fake. “I didn’t expect to see my own character tortured like that.”
Allen froze, his brain screeching to a halt. “…Wait.”
Something wasn’t adding up here. The way she worded it, the way her voice sounded sad but also not entirely serious, the way she hugged him just tight enough to demand comfort but not enough to seem like she was actually breaking down…
Then she lifted her head slightly, her eyes wide, shimmering, filled with an exaggerated sadness that was too perfectly executed to be real.
Then she said it. “Pamper me, Allen.” Alice sniffled again—fake sobbing between words. “I’m hurt. From the inside.”

“…Alice.”
She tilted her head, pouting—full puppy-dog eyes activated. “Pamper me~.”
Allen gave her a flat stare.
Actually, all the girls gave her a flat stare.
Bella’s eye twitched. “Yup. I take it back. I shouldn’t feel sorry for you.”
Shea groaned, rubbing her temple. “Here we go… another Jane.”
Jane gasped, placing a hand over her chest. “Ouch. I’m right here, you know.”
Larissa clicked her tongue, watching Alice cling to Allen like a spoiled cat. “She’s even worse than you, Jane.”
Alice sniffed again. “It’s called coping.”
Zoe crossed her arms, her tentacles flicking in amusement. “Is that what we’re calling blatant attention-seeking now?”
Alice whined louder, shifting in Allen’s grip. “Come on, Allen, say something. I suffered. I deserve compensation.”
Shea slowly turned to Bella. “Do you think she’s actually messing with us or is she just naturally like this?”
Bella groaned, rubbing her forehead. “I don’t know, and honestly, I’m afraid to ask.”
Vivian smirked, shaking her head. “She’s committed, though. I’ll give her that.”
Alice tightened her grip on Allen, her expression turning back into something tragically dramatic. “Allen. I don’t think you understand. I just erased my own past. I am fragile. I need reassurance.”
Allen gave her a long, blank stare.
Then he patted her head exactly twice.
Pat. Pat.
Alice blinked. “…What the hell was that?”
Allen shrugged. “That’s all you’re getting.”
Alice squinted at him, unimpressed. “I literally just killed my past.”
Allen smirked. “I literally just killed a hundred players.”
Alice narrowed her eyes further. “…Tch.”
Zoe snorted. “Wow. Did Allen just outdo Alice in emotional damage?”
Jane nodded, grinning. “Legendary moment. Someone write this down.”
Zoe let out a chuckle, shaking her head. “I can’t believe we actually watched Alice have an existential crisis and then immediately turn it into an excuse to get pampered.”
Bella crossed her arms, giving Alice a half-exasperated, half-impressed look. “Yeah, I’ve gotta admit, that’s next-level manipulation.”
Alice, still clinging to Allen, pouted. “It’s not manipulation, it’s survival. I just erased my own past, I deserve some compensation.”
Allen let out a long, tired sigh. “C’mon. We’re moving on.”
Alice’s grip tightened. “No.”
Allen’s brow twitched. “Alice.”
Alice tilted her head up, her eyes shimmering with exaggerated sadness. “I won’t let you go before I get what I deserve.”
Allen narrowed his eyes. “And what exactly do you think you deserve?”
Alice huffed dramatically, pressing herself even closer to him like a needy cat. “A proper head pat.”
Allen stared at her, unimpressed.
Alice stared back, completely serious.
Silence.
A long silence.
Then Allen gave up.
With a deep sigh, he raised a hand, resting it gently on her head, ruffling her soft hair, his fingers brushing through the strands, his touch deliberate but effortless. Then, dryly, he muttered, “There, there.”
Alice beamed instantly. “Yay!” She snuggled closer, nuzzling into his chest, her grip on him relaxing but not letting go, looking less like a powerful witch and more like a spoiled cat soaking up affection from its owner.
Larissa let out an exhausted sigh, rubbing her temples. “Unbelievable. She’s using her own grudge as an excuse to get spoiled.”
Vivian smirked. “Honestly? I respect it.”
Shea groaned, folding her arms. “I knew she was bad, but this? This is next-level shamelessness.”
Jane snickered. “Hey, I’m just mad I didn’t think of it first.”
Zoe chuckled. “You guys are acting like she’s not completely valid. I mean, she technically did die a little inside just now.”
Alice perked up, still resting against Allen. “Exactly! Thank you, Zoe. Someone here understands me.”
Bella rolled her eyes. “Oh, shut up. You literally just murdered a high-level boss version of yourself without a shred of hesitation.”
