Chapter 1463: Someone Like Me
Villain Ch 1463. Someone Like Me
Azura’s cheeks flushed softly, but she didn’t back down. “Yes, someone like… me.”
Allen stared at her, momentarily stunned into silence.
He hesitated, his voice softer, careful. “Azura… you’re my cousin. I mean, are you sure?”
Azura shook her head immediately, smiling lightly. “Allen, you know very well we’re not blood-related. You’re not actually related to me by blood.”
Allen felt himself relax slightly, embarrassment rising to his cheeks. “Right. Sorry. It’s just… family labels confuse me sometimes.”
She chuckled softly, eyes gentle. “I understand. But no—we’re not related.”
Allen ran a hand through his hair, exhaling slowly. “Okay… but Azura, why me?”
She paused thoughtfully, fingers tracing slow circles on the tablecloth. Her voice was soft, sincere. “Because… from the moment I first met you, even two years ago when you were angry and hurting, I saw something special. You were struggling, yes, but beneath all that anger and pain was someone genuine, someone who just wanted to feel understood and valued.”
Allen felt his heart clench softly. He watched her quietly, seeing something he’d never noticed before—a quiet, patient affection in her gaze that she’d always hidden well.
Azura continued gently, her voice tender. “And now, seeing you finally happy—seeing how you’ve grown—I realize just how right I was. You’re someone who deserves all the happiness in the world. And I find myself… wanting to be part of that happiness.”
Allen felt warmth spread slowly through his chest, uncertainty giving way to something softer, gentler. He leaned forward slightly, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Azura, I—” He hesitated, carefully choosing his words. “I’m honored. Honestly.”
Azura smiled warmly, eyes hopeful yet patient. “I’m glad. But…?”
Allen sighed softly, gathering his thoughts. “It’s not a no, Azura. It’s just… You’ve seen how things are. Multiple relationships, busy schedules, and my life isn’t exactly simple.”
She chuckled lightly, eyes twinkling warmly. “Allen, when has your life ever been simple?”
Allen laughed quietly, shaking his head. “Fair point.”
Azura reached slowly across the table, gently placing her hand over his. Her touch was soft, comforting, sincere. “I’m not looking for something simple. I know you. I understand your life is messy and complicated. But I still want to be part of it.”
Allen felt his heart flutter gently, a feeling both pleasant and surprising. “Why?”
She shrugged lightly, smiling softly. “I suppose seeing you today, finally happy, made me realize I didn’t want to keep hiding how I feel.”
Allen squeezed her hand gently, letting the sincerity of her words settle deep inside him. “Thank you for telling me.”
Azura smiled warmly, relaxing visibly. “I meant every word.”
Allen took a deep breath, chuckling softly. “You realize the other girls in my life are… a lot, right? They’re loving, but they’re also intense.”
Azura laughed lightly, amusement dancing in her eyes. “I think I can handle intense. Honestly, I’m tougher than I look.”
Allen smirked slightly, nodding thoughtfully. “Yeah, I believe that.”
Azura leaned back in her chair, looking relieved yet still curious. “So… does this mean you’re willing to give us a chance?”
Allen hesitated slightly, his heart beating quicker. Yet, looking into her eyes, seeing her sincerity, he felt something deep within him soften. “Yes. It means we can explore this.”
Azura’s eyes lit up softly, a genuine smile illuminating her beautiful face. “I’m happy to hear that.”
Allen chuckled quietly, squeezing her hand gently again. “Me too.”
Azura tilted her head playfully, eyes sparkling again. “So… does this mean I have permission to tease you like Emma does?”
Allen groaned, laughing softly despite himself. “Oh no. Please don’t become another Emma. One sister teasing me mercilessly is enough.”

She giggled, eyes bright with affection. “No promises.”
Allen smiled, feeling truly content. It was unexpected, certainly complicated, but somehow, sitting here with Azura felt natural. Another beautiful, comforting layer to his already chaotic yet deeply rewarding life.
He leaned back, finally feeling completely at ease. “Well, I guess I can’t stop you.”
Azura smiled softly, her voice gentle. “Then I won’t hold back.”
Allen chuckled quietly, meeting her gaze warmly. “I wouldn’t expect anything less.”
For a lingering moment, Allen allowed the pleasant warmth of Azura’s gentle smile to envelop him. But reality nudged at his consciousness, reminding him of everything else he needed to handle today. Reluctantly, he took a deep breath and drained the last of his coffee, savoring its final comforting warmth as it slid down his throat.
“Alright,” he said softly, pushing his chair back slightly. “I guess I better head back to my room. Need to put this bag away and maybe catch up online. Dad still has plenty to handle, and I’d like to learn more about the family business if I can.”
Azura nodded in understanding, her expression gentle and supportive. “Sounds good. I’m glad you’re getting involved, Allen.”
He smiled appreciatively, reaching out to briefly squeeze her shoulder as he stood up. “Thanks, Azura. And… thanks for being open with me.”
Her cheeks turned a delicate pink, her eyes shining with quiet sincerity. “Anytime. I meant everything I said.”
His smile lingered a moment longer before he finally lifted the gym bag off the chair next to him. As he began to walk toward the door, his mind drifted briefly to the quiet afternoon ahead—perhaps he’d log into the game and try to plan the next steps, or maybe take some time to understand the complexities of the Goldborne family’s business empire. The possibilities seemed endless.
He was almost out the door when Azura’s voice softly called after him. “Allen?”
Allen stopped, turning back curiously. “Hmm?”
Azura hesitated briefly, eyes squinting slightly at something behind him. She raised one slender finger, pointing directly toward his bag with a perplexed expression. “Um… what is that weird-looking belt sticking out of your bag?”
Confusion flickered across Allen’s face. He glanced down sharply, stomach twisting in sudden, horrified realization. His bag—the bag containing certain personal items from the lingerie shop—was partially unzipped, the black leather harness belt clearly poking halfway out. His heart dropped straight into his stomach.
