Chapter 1476: For Dominance (Dragon Bonus)
Villain Ch 1476. For Dominance (Dragon Bonus)
Elio didn’t let up. He roared and unleashed a blinding wave of golden light from his sword—a skill called Heaven’s Judgment, the kind of thing you only saw from final-phase raid bosses. The radiant blast tore through the chamber, chasing every shadow into a corner.
The Devil Emperor didn’t budge.
He just raised one hand.
“Barrier.”
A glowing wall of deep crimson magic shimmered into place. The golden light smashed into it—fizzled, cracked—and died like it had never existed.
The dead players stared. Nobody knew how to process what they were seeing.
Elio didn’t stop. He dashed forward, holy blade sweeping in a wide arc, aiming straight for the Emperor’s neck.
Gil blinked in beside him, daggers raised. Perfect sync. He moved like this wasn’t a game, like the two of them had trained this combo for years.
It was music. It was choreography.
And it still didn’t work.
The Devil Emperor caught Elio’s blade with his Telekinesis Blast. The glove sparked, reacting to the intense holy energy—but he didn’t even flinch. He shoved Elio back like he was made of paper.
Then he turned to Gil.
His eyes lit up, not with rage… but with interest.
“You,” he said smoothly. “You’re faster than before.”
Gil didn’t hesitate. He dropped into Blade Echo, his signature rapid-strike combo. His form blurred, multiplied with afterimages, and the room filled with the hiss of slicing air and steel.
The Emperor… danced through it.
He ducked, twisted, turned sideways, not wasting a single step. His sword barely moved—a short flick upward.
Gil froze mid-strike.
Then a line of red bloomed across his chest.
He gasped, stumbled back. Blink-dodged instinctively, teleporting away to the far side of the chamber, dropping to one knee.
“H-he read it all,” Gil breathed. “Every move…”
Elio steadied himself, sword crackling with light again. “He’s not reading us,” he growled. “He’s memorized us.”
The Devil Emperor chuckled. Not a villain laugh—just pure amusement, like a gamer genuinely enjoying a challenge.
“You think I haven’t studied you?” he said. “You think I don’t watch?” he claimed.
He pointed his sword forward.
“Again.”
Elio grit his teeth. His armor gleamed as Divine Rampart kicked in—five seconds of invincibility.
He was gonna need every one of them. And hopefully, gw could land a strike.
Gil vanished and reappeared behind the Emperor at the same time, Rapid Chain active.

Their timing was flawless.
But the Emperor was gone.
The moment their strikes passed through empty space, a whisper of darkness behind them turned into him.
‘Telekinesis Blast.’
Gil and Elio were thrown across the chamber like rag dolls, smashing into stone pillars and rolling hard across the ground.
Gil coughed, his HP bar flashing red.
Elio tried to stand. Tried.
The Emperor appeared before him in a single step.
He leaned down slightly, watching the Paladin with almost… admiration.
“You’re not bad,” he said quietly. “In another world, you might have even been my equal.”
Elio snarled. “You’re no god.”
“No,” the Emperor said. “But I will become a god.”
Then he rammed his blade forward—clean through Elio’s chest.
A golden shockwave burst outward, holy light screaming in protest, but it didn’t matter.
The light faded.
[You have been slain by the Devil Emperor.]
Gil saw it from across the room, eyes wide in horror. “ELIO!”
He activated every skill he had left—Shadow Surge, Phantom Rage. He blurred forward in a final, suicidal charge.
He made it three steps.
The Emperor’s sword spun once in his hand.
Demonic Lance.
The energy tore through Gil’s torso mid-sprint, impaling him with a vicious shock of red lightning. His body froze—then exploded in pixelated crimson as he crumpled to the ground.
[You have been slain by the Devil Emperor.]
Silence followed.
Not even the watching players dared to breathe.
The Devil Emperor stood alone, untouched, blade gleaming with the blood of two of the game’s most powerful players. His expression unreadable.
Elio was dead.
Gil was gone.
The Emperor didn’t speak.
He didn’t need to.
He gave them all one last glance, slow and deliberate, as if carving their names into a mental list.
No victory emote. No taunt.
Just silence and retreat.
And that made it worse.
Because the Devil Emperor wasn’t fighting for loot.
He was fighting for dominance.
And now, there was no doubt—he had it.
The Devil Emperor stood calmly, sword lowered at his side, not even a drop of sweat on him. His crimson eyes burned in the dim torchlight of the Hall of Silence.
Around him, nothing stirred—just bodies, silence, and fear.
Then, heels clicked softly against the stone floor.
The girls appeared one by one, moving toward him like a well-rehearsed procession of queens and monsters. Elegant, deadly, unbothered.
Vivian was the first to speak, stepping over the cracked ground with her whip dragging behind her. She smirked down at Elio’s crumpled form and gave a mock sigh. “Awww, he didn’t even last long enough to scream.”
Jane floated behind her, shadows writhing at her feet. She glanced at Gil’s remains with a dark chuckle. “This one really thought he could blink behind you, Your Majesty. Cute.”
Shea shrugged as she passed the mess, blades of her wings twitching slightly. “I was hoping for a song out of this fight. Guess they weren’t worth the lyrics.”
Zoe ran a hand through her hair, then turned to the Emperor with a small tilt of her head. “Should we get inside, Your Majesty?”
The Devil Emperor looked toward the entrance of the Hall of Silence—still untouched, the true boss still waiting inside. But instead of answering right away, he let his gaze sweep slowly over the corpses.
Finally, he stopped at Elio’s body.
He stared down at him for a long second, then smirked—just faintly.
“See you next time… Paladin.”
Then he turned, and walked toward the dungeon gates.
“Yes,” he said, voice calm and amused. “Let’s go.”
The girls followed without hesitation. Not a single one looked back.
