Chapter 1484: Free From The Devil Emperor’s Reign
Villain Ch 1484. Free From The Devil Emperor’s Reign
Allen shook his head fondly, laughing along with the group. “Looks like the dungeon finally decided to reward us properly. I’m glad we got something useful.”
Bella stretched luxuriously, tails flicking playfully. “Agreed. If it gave me another useless fishing item, I was going to rage-quit.”
Alice smiled mischievously. “And I would’ve recorded every second of it.”
Bella stuck her tongue out playfully. “You’re evil, Alice.”
“Naturally,” Alice replied casually, eyes twinkling. “It’s part of the witch package.”
Allen chuckled, feeling lighter, more relaxed now that the tension of battle had finally faded away. “Honestly, you guys did great. That fight was rough, but we handled it perfectly.”
Jane nodded serenely. “Definitely one of our hardest yet. Good teamwork made all the difference.”
Larissa smiled faintly. “We’re getting better with every dungeon. We might even start making it look easy soon.”
“Let’s not get cocky,” Allen said teasingly, glancing around the quiet dungeon chamber. “I prefer being prepared over lucky.”
They laughed lightly, their voices echoing off the dark stone walls of the dungeon. The air felt lighter now, tension draining from their muscles as they approached the exit.
Allen felt the steady confidence that came from winning tough battles like these. But just as he was beginning to fully relax, a sudden system announcement flashed across their screens, jolting everyone into instant alertness.
[Global Announcement!]
[Ironclad Legion has successfully defeated the Dark Tower’s Final Guardian in Ront City!]
[Ront City has been freed from the Devil Emperor’s reign and is now under the player control once more!]
The team froze, every face turned sharply toward the glowing system notification hovering ominously before them. The silence that followed felt heavy, almost oppressive.
Jane was the first to speak. “Did they… actually manage to do it?”
Allen narrowed his eyes, lips pressing into a tight, cold smile. “Looks like it,” he confirmed quietly, his voice edged with a dark admiration. “They took Ront City.”
Shea blinked, clearly startled. Her usually playful expression twisted into a cautious frown. “Then this means… an urgent event?”
Zoe folded her arms thoughtfully, a knowing glint in her eyes. “It definitely should. Losing control of a city like that changes everything.”
Allen exhaled slowly. He wasn’t upset—not really. If anything, he was intrigued. A genuine challenge was exactly what he’d been craving. But first things first—he couldn’t let such boldness go unanswered.
He raised his head, the cruel amusement returning to his gaze, “Before any events trigger, I think it’s only polite we show ourselves first.”
Bella cocked an eyebrow at him. “You plan to fight them already?”
Allen chuckled darkly, eyes glittering with a dangerous playfulness. “No,” he said smoothly. “Just say hello. Let them enjoy their victory for a moment. Fear tastes so much sweeter when it follows hope.”
A ripple of dark laughter passed quietly through the group, their eyes shining with shared anticipation.
Larissa stepped forward, elegant and deadly as always, a sly smile playing on her lips. “You’re really going to grace them with your presence?”
Allen nodded, his wicked grin deepening. “They’ve earned it, after all. The Ironclad Legion deserves my… recognition.”
Alice laughed softly, floating lazily on her broom, shadows flickering playfully around her. “Recognition from the Devil Emperor himself? They’ll probably scatter like frightened sheep.”
Allen’s smile widened, cruel amusement dancing openly in his expression. “Perhaps. But that’s exactly why it’s so enjoyable.”
Vivian leaned in, her crimson eyes sparkling mischievously, excitement clear in her voice. “Well, count me in. Seeing their faces when they realize you’re watching is too tempting to miss.”

Allen glanced at his loyal companions, all of them ready, all of them eager to follow him into the chaos he promised. They knew exactly what he represented in this game—the villain, the nightmare, the ultimate antagonist. He wasn’t there to congratulate them sincerely or play the gracious loser. No, he was there to remind them of one simple truth.
Even when they thought they’d won, the Devil Emperor was never truly defeated.
Allen stepped forward confidently, shadows coiling around him, dark energy pulsing visibly as he opened a portal toward Ront City. “Come, ladies,” he murmured with sinister charm. “Let’s not keep our new conquerors waiting.”
With a practiced motion, Allen raised his hand, shadows instantly swirling at his fingertips. The air shimmered and distorted in front of him, forming into a swirling dark portal that led straight back to the familiar halls of the Cursed Crypts.
Without hesitation, he stepped through, the girls quickly following behind him, each sharing excited, knowing glances.
The cold, dimly-lit corridor of the Crypts greeted them once more. They hurried swiftly toward the portal room, their footsteps echoing faintly on the ancient stones.
Bella glanced around, her ears flicking. “It’s so quiet now. Almost like nothing happened.”
Allen chuckled softly. “We cleaned house pretty thoroughly.”
Reaching the main portal room, Allen quickly activated the portal, selecting their destination. The magical circle flared brightly, lighting the darkened chamber with a brief, intense glow.
“Next stop, Ront City,” Allen announced with a faint grin.
They stepped into the portal, feeling the familiar pull as they vanished into the swirling energy. In mere seconds, their surroundings shifted dramatically, and they found themselves standing in the gates of Ront City.
But the city they stepped into wasn’t the dark, oppressive place Allen had ruled over. Sunlight streamed brightly down from a clear, vibrant sky, illuminating streets bustling with joyous NPCs and celebrating players. Laughter and cheerful conversations filled the air. So different from the gloomy atmosphere that once hung over this place.
Everywhere Allen looked, bright banners bearing the Ironclad Legion’s emblem hung from buildings and lamp posts, fluttering gently in the soft breeze. The dark-armored soldiers that once patrolled these streets in Allen’s name were nowhere to be seen, replaced by smiling, friendly city guards in polished silver armor.
Allen felt a strange mixture of pride and amusement at the drastic transformation. He glanced at the girls, noting their stunned expressions.
“Let’s greet them,” he said.
