Chapter 1501: I’m Genius and Dangerous
Villain Ch 1501. I’m Genius and Dangerous
Emma’s whole body stiffened. The slight upward curl of her lips disappeared in an instant. She batted Shea’s hand away—not aggressively, but with enough irritation to make her point.
“I know I’m a genius and dangerous,” she said sharply, “but I’m not a kid.”
That caught Allen off guard. He glanced up from the holographic base editor where he was adjusting the placements of spike traps and frowned at her.
“Emma,” he said, voice calm but firm. “You’re still a kid.”
She lifted her head defiantly, shoulders squared like she was ready to pick a PvP duel with the entire server. “I refuse to be treated like one.”
Kafra, who had been quietly running probability checks in the background, her fingers flicking across a translucent interface like a conductor directing a digital orchestra, didn’t even look up. “Then act like a mature woman. Just once.”
“I’m trying,” Emma huffed, clearly offended but not entirely sure how to argue her way out of that one.
Allen gave her a look—half amused, half tired. She was throwing sparks again. She always did when she felt underestimated. And yeah, he got it. She was brilliant. Scarily so. She’d pulled off stunts in the game most devs didn’t even know were possible.
But she was also still his little sister. And no number of near-impossible dungeon solos or world-breaking bugs was going to change that.
Before he could say anything else, four fresh pulses of energy blinked into the crypt, lighting up the platform with shimmering sigils.
The portals opened in sequence.
Bella stepped through first, flicking a loose strand of fox-colored hair over her shoulder as if it were part of some stage performance. “I knew it,” she said. “They had to be here.”
Alice emerged next, gliding as if she didn’t walk so much as hover. Her eyes scanned the group without expression. “Oh. Emma and Kafra too… That explains the noise.”
Then came Larissa. She took one glance at the projection still floating over Allen’s shoulder and nodded. “Looks like they’ve already started base planning.”
And finally—Jane.
She didn’t so much walk as bounce, skipping across the broken, cursed stones like a child approaching a candy store. Her dark priestess robe trailed behind her in elegant chaos, completely contradicting the manic grin on her face.
“Allen~!” she sang, practically hopping onto the central dais. “What is this? Ooooh, you’re already working on the layout!”
Allen gave her a side glance. “Just finished the trap configurations—”
Jane cut him off immediately, leaning in toward the projection with way too much excitement.
“Where are you putting the torture room?” she asked.
Everyone stopped.
“…What,” Allen said flatly.
Jane tapped her finger against her lips, her grin widening like she’d just come up with a holiday special no one asked for. “We could have a spinning blade corridor! You know, the kind where their feet get caught and they have to crawl through while the walls close in and there’s that ambient moaning sound? Or better—what if we install a mystic chamber where they lose one piece of clothing every time they trigger a trap?”
Alice turned toward Jane like she was about to report her to tech support for mental corruption.
Larissa actually raised an eyebrow. That was how Allen knew it was bad.
Kafra cleared her throat loudly and stepped forward, her tone extra sharp and dry. “Please remember, Jane. We have a minor here.”
She gestured toward Emma with the same energy one might use to point out a highly flammable object.
Emma threw her hands up. “Hey! I’m not a minor!”
Kafra didn’t even blink. “Oh yes. You’re a minor who acts like a minor but thinks she’s not a minor.”

“I’m sixteen!” Emma growled.
“Exactly,” Kafra replied.
Zoe, off to the side, bit her lip, clearly trying not to laugh. Even Shea gave a small chuckle, quickly hiding it behind her hand.
Jane just tilted her head. “So… no punishment corridor?”
“Absolutely not,” Allen said firmly. “And no stripping mechanics either.”
“Boring,” Jane sighed.
Emma crossed her arms and muttered, “I’d rather be a tower than listen to this.”
Zoe’s eyes lit up like someone had handed her a gift. “Oh? Should we go back to the Spoiled Princess Tower idea?”
Emma whirled toward her. “Don’t you dare.”
Kafra, clearly trying to restore some semblance of order, raised her hand and activated a new system overlay. A soft, blue-white glow flickered across her face as she brought up the event interface.
“Now that everyone’s here,” she said, “let’s focus. This isn’t just a regular raid. It’s a role inversion event. First of its kind. Live-streamed. Tested in real time. So yes, we want it dramatic—but not stupid. We need the setup ironclad.”
“Literally,” Bella muttered.
Allen sighed and rubbed his temples. “We’ve got seven days. I still need to finish my gear upgrades. The last components are buried in dungeon zones that are just waiting to eat my DP and sanity.”
Larissa glanced over. “Want help farming?”
Allen nodded. “Yeah. I’ll tag you when I run the last two dungeons.”
“I want to help too!” Jane chirped. “Let me light things on fire!”
“No fire,” Kafra said quickly. “Not unless it’s pre-approved.”
Jane pouted. “That’s no fun.”
Alice finally spoke up again. “Allen. You should designate raid roles now. Phase assignments, spell rotations, movement anchors.”
“Already halfway done,” he replied, pulling open the raid manager panel. “Vivian’s taking overwatch on the eastern flank. Bella’s leading bait squads through the outer maze. Zoe and Larissa handle flanks. Shea opens as raid commander, then Bella swaps in mid-phase.”
Kafra nodded in approval. “And Emma?”
Everyone turned.
Emma blinked, looking around. “What?”
“She doesn’t have a role yet,” Allen said carefully. “Because you haven’t told me what the event team is allowing.”
Kafra nodded. “Still pending.”
Emma stepped forward, arms folded tightly. “Well, if they do let me in… I’ll show you I’m not just some tagalong genius kid. I’ll be the secret weapon.”
Kafra exhaled a long breath for effect.
“…Right after she figures out how not to accidentally delete the boss arena again.”
A long, shared groan echoed through the chamber.
And yet—even as Allen closed his eyes and shook his head, he smiled.
Because the truth was, if Emma was allowed in?
Then all bets were off.
And that was exactly what made things interesting.
