Chapter 525: Shocking the Capital Part 3
As the event continued and more guests filled the hall, the majority of the attendees were demon kings, demon lords, and their immediate families.
Each of them had their own tables. The facilitator of the event knew that demons came in all shapes and sizes.
While most were humanoid, their physical differences still varied.
So, to accommodate everyone, they ensured that all the furniture was durable and came in a range of sizes to fit every guest comfortably.
After all, no one would dare risk leaving a demon king without a seat. If that were to happen, heads would roll in no time.
The feast began as the guests settled in, their eyes scanning the room, catching up with familiar faces, and discussing matters of power and influence.
Tables were laden with food—plates of tender, sizzling human flesh, expertly prepared and seasoned.
In the capital, these were not viewed as cannibalism , but ” livestock,” bred for the sustenance of the demon world.
For the beings who gathered here, it was simply a part of their way of life—eating human flesh was a necessity , and no matter how much they dressed up, there was no changing the fact that they are man eating monsters.
The guests started eating without hesitation, enjoying each bite. Some ripped into the meat with their claws, while others, more refined, used silver knives and forks to carefully cut through the tender flesh.
As they ate, they drank their wine, a mix of fruit and human blood, which gave it a unique flavor.
“When do you think Demon God Tara will arrive?” one demon asked, his voice laced with impatience. The party couldn’t officially begin without her.
Normally, she was the only one to represent the Demon Gods at such gatherings, as that was the standard practice.
However, tonight was different. An unexpected figure had already appeared before her—another Demon God.
She was a tall woman in a dark red gown that flowed down to the floor, hiding most of her body.
Dozens of eyes covered the parts of her skin that were visible, each one blinking and moving on its own, scanning the room.
No one had expected her to show up, and her arrival sent a wave of tension through the attendees.
“What is Demon God Visara doing here?” whispered some of the guests, stealing glances at her.
She was known for rarely showing herself in public and for having the power to see glimpses of the future.
As a Demon God, she might not be the most powerful, but everyone in the council respected her words, including Draven. Her influence went beyond strength; it was her wisdom and strategic mind that earned her the respect of even the most powerful demons.
Seeing her here was a big shock to everyone, and many began to wonder if her arrival meant something important was about to unfold.
The waitress in the hall also exchanged uneasy looks.
They hadn’t prepared an invitation for any Demon Gods, knowing that beings of their power could come and go as they pleased. It wasn’t as if anyone could stop them.
“Demon God Visara, please, this way,” the snake-woman said with a low bow, her voice respectful and steady.
As the lead facilitator of the event, it was her duty to remain composed and guide the guests without hesitation.
She quickly gestured to follow her, ready to ensure everything proceeded smoothly despite the unexpected presence of such a powerful figure.
“Thank you,” Visara replied with a slight nod.
She followed the snake-woman through the crowd, who quickly parted and bowed their head to make way .
They reached Tara’s reserved table, which stood out from the others. It was larger, with intricate carvings along the edges and chairs lined in dark velvet.
The grand setup, clearly meant for someone of the highest status.

A new wave of rumors rippled through the crowd as demons exchanged skeptical glances.
“Do you think she’s here to support that arrogant demon?” one asked, sounding offended.
“Support? I doubt it,” someone else muttered. “But her being here probably means there’s some truth to his claims. Why else would she bother?”
“He’d ruin everything,” another demon spat, annoyed. “No sense of loyalty or respect. The alliance would crumble under someone like him.”
The murmur of disapproval grew louder, each demon building off the last as they vented their frustrations and doubts.
Eyes kept darting toward Visara, half-expecting her to say something, though her silence only seemed to confirm their suspicions.
As the crowd buzzed with rising tension, another figure entered the hall, drawing the attention of everyone.
Towering at nearly ten feet, the demon’s entire body shimmered like polished gold, catching the dim lights and reflecting a fierce glow.
Six muscular arms extended from his frame, each adorned with intricate symbols, while five eyes—three across his forehead and two below—scanned the room with a piercing gaze.
“Another Demon God!” Kraken blurted out, his usual composure cracking under the surprise.
The hall went quiet, and more whispers spread quickly. The guests realized that there were now two Demon Gods in the hall—something that hardly ever happened.
The tall golden demon walked calmly toward Visara.
As he moved, the crowd stepped aside to make room for him, before he reached the table and sat down across her.
“Venzo, what are you doing here?” Visara inquired, her voice cold and filled with suspicion.
At the same time she subtly raised her hand, and an invisible barrier formed around their table, ensuring that no one could overhear their conversation.
“Nothing, I’m just here to give thanks to the person who defeated my son,” Venzo said with a grin, his voice filled with amusement.
“I heard he’s pretty strong—and arrogant too.” He let out a hearty chuckle.
Unlike his son, Vinsh, who was serious and hot-tempered, he had a more relaxed demeanor, almost as if he didn’t take the situation as seriously as the others did.
And this was not just a fake persona—Venzo had always been like this from the very beginning.
Visara sighed, knowing that he wasn’t the type to pick on lower-ranking demons.
Still, she couldn’t take any chances.
“That demon is under our protection,” she warned “Don’t do anything stupid.”
Her eyes narrowed slightly, making it clear that while she trusted him, she wasn’t willing to overlook any potential trouble.
“Don’t worry, I’m not that petty anymore. I’m a changed man,” Venzo said, waving her off casually.
Just as the two seemed to come to an understanding, another surprised appeared out of nowhere.
A small crack in the air opened, and from it stepped a small looking Demon God.
His presence, though less imposing than the others, still commanded attention as he took his place at the table, joining the conversation without a word.
“I did not expect the two of you to come here,” Metto said, his voice high-pitched yet clear, fitting his small stature.
Before the Visara could respond, the doors to the hall creaked open, drawing everyone’s attention.
Tara made her entrance.
But she wasn’t alone. Walking beside her, smiling on the crowd, was none other than Draven—the strongest Demon God.
His presence was too overwhelming, commanding attention from every corner of the room.
The room fell silent. Every eye turned toward them as Draven’s footsteps echoed through the hall.
His reputation preceded him, making the very air feel thicker, just by looking at him.
‘Five Demon Gods…’ Kraken muttered under his breath, his eyes darting between them.
His usual arrogance was tempered by the realization that he was in the presence of beings far beyond his reach.
He felt stupid for trash-talking Reign’s claim. The more he thought about it, the more it seemed like that the new general might actually be telling the truth.
If the claim weren’t true, then why would five Demon Gods be here .Especially considering they were all occupied with the ongoing threat from Hell.
Their presence alone proved that they believed this party was worth their time, that something bigger was happening—something worth paying attention to.
Some wondered what had brought them all here. Others speculated about the true purpose of this event—was it really just a celebration, or was there a hidden agenda?
Meanwhile, the snake woman was sweating bullets. She never expected this event to turn into a gathering of the most powerful beings on the planet.
What started as a simple reception had quickly turned into something much bigger than anyone had anticipated.
But it was too late to regret. The situation had already spiraled beyond their control.
Now, all that could be done was to satisfy the VIP attendees need before the party ended, and hope for the best.
