Chapter 364: Don’t Mind The Carnage
“Tera? Are you alright?” Amber asked, my lover rushing up time with a fearful look on her face.
“I’m ok. I’m surprised you girls managed to find me here.”
She didn’t seem to hear me as she fussed over me, “Did they do anything to you, Tera?! Did they hurt you? Did they touch you somewhere?! Did they abuse you?!”
“Amber, calm down. I’m really ok. I managed to escape before they even did anything to me.”
She patted me down and then stopped at my boobs to give them a squeeze before smushing her face in there to start motorboating me.
“… Amber…” I sighed.
“Mmmm~ It’s been a few hours… And I was so worried something happened to youuuuu…” She whined, not willing to release me.
I patted her head, “As you can see, I am fine. So how did you girls know where to find me?”
Mara was the one who answered me, our ship doctor floating towards me, “When we realised you had been gone for longer than normal, Captain, we started searching along the path you took to get back to the ship. I gleaned a memory from one of the people there that saw you get kidnapped and we started looking for who these people belonged to. Eventually, we found a few of their gang members and made use of him to lead us to this place to rescue you.”
Wow… How many people did Mara had to read the minds of to do that?
I actually feel a little afraid to ask that question…
Then I realised something…
“Did the four of you really attack this entire base by yourselves?”
Ries came up with the same manic grin on her face, “Of course, Boss! You’re not expecting us to just sit around and do nothing right?”
“I mean… You really went to storm a gang hideout by yourselves… Aren’t any of you worried that you might… You know… Get hurt? Especially when they obviously outnumber you all?”
Mara tilted her head at me, “Did you forget that I’m here, Captain? I could have done this alone if I wanted to.”
“That may be true but did you forget that you also fell into a trap and needed us to rescue you the last time? What if this was another trap set up by your family and you just walked right into it?”
“Captain, we already know they tried to take you because you were the chef that was threatening their business, not because it’s a trap meant for me,” Mara assured me.
“Fair enough… But even if that’s true… What if the others got hurt?”
Lea appeared behind Mara, “Mistress? Weren’t you also trying to break out of here on your own? That’s also plenty dangerous…”
I made a face at her, “That’s different, ok? I was doing that because I had no choice. I was about to get raped, you know?”
The girls froze and their eyes widened the moment they heard my words. Even Amber had stopped hugging me to stare at me.
“What… What happened?” She asked.
“Well… I was knocked out and placed in a cell but I woke up just as two guys were planning to enter the cell to try and rape me while I was out. But I woke up before them and knocked them out before I escaped from the cell. So… You know? I can’t exactly stay in the same cell as those guys and wait around to be rescued.”
“They’re still alive?” Amber asked, her voice dropping to a whisper suspiciously.
“Eh? Err… Yeah, I left them in the cell on the top floor. Why?”
The girls shared a look before turning back to me.
Lea gave me an especially serious look, “Is there anyone else who did that to you, Mistress?”
“Hmm? Oh no. After I escaped from there, I just went on a killing spree to fight my way out. The only reason why I didn’t kill them from the start was because I thought I could at least still sneak out of here. But then I got spotted and the alarm was raised literally less than ten minutes later.”
Mara pursed her lips at me, “Did you try to wear their vest and pretend to be one of them to sneak out of here?”

“Yeah… How did you know?”
“There are no females in this gang, Captain…”
Oh… Well, I guess that explains how the guy knew from the very start that I was an escapee.
Amber cleared her throat, “Ahem… anyway… I think we should leave right now, Tera~ Maybe you can get out of here and we’ll… Umm… Do a sweep of the area or something?”
I was about to agree when I remembered something, “Oh wait! There’s a storeroom that’s chock full of stuff upstairs on the fifteenth floor! Or more accurately, it’s an armoury, but they do look like they have quite a lot of expensive stuff in there. So I was thinking of going there to take them since they put me through all that trouble anyway.”
The girls looked at each other again and at this point, I was pretty sure they were having some kind of telepathic conversation between themselves.
…
That was meant as a joke but since Mara was a Psionic, that was actually quite possible now that I think about it…
They quickly turned back to me and Amber gave me a bright smile before moving to hug my arm, “That sounds like a great idea, Tera! Let’s go!”
I raised a finger, “One word of warning though… They have an elevator here that we could use to go up to the fifteenth floor but it’s now out of order. I’m not sure if there’s a way to activate it again but it will definitely make our work easier if we intend to clear out this place.”
Ries giggled, “Ehehe, that’s easy~ We’re the ones who disabled it so it’ll just need a quick tempering from me to get it running again!”
Ries then went ahead to lead our group back to the corridor where they had come from, which was a corridor that led to a staircase that led down to the ground floor.
I got to see just how brutal they had been as the ground floor was practically torn to shreds. The floor, walls and even the ceiling were falling apart at certain places while blood, viscera and pieces of flesh were splattered against everything.
Just from looking at the scene, I could tell which ones were Mara’s handiwork as those mostly had someone being crushed or pulverised by some debris. Then there were those that only had a single gunshot wound through their heads which were undoubtedly a result of Lea’s sniping.
There were also thugs who were filled with bullet holes or had exploded into pieces of gore, those I attributed to Ries since these match the weapons she was carrying when I saw her.
Then there were the thugs with bullet holes in their vital spots like their head, neck or chest. The only reason I know these were not Lea’s handiwork was because these guys were shot more than once so by order of elimination, these should be Amber’s work.
Interestingly, there was also a group of thugs that were charred black from being burned which I assumed meant one of them was using a flamethrower at the start but abandoned or switched out that weapon as they moved out of this place.
“You girls really didn’t hold back, huh?” I pointed out.
The girls blinked at me until they followed my gaze to look at all the dead bodies around them like they only just realised this had happened.
Amber quickly hugged my arm tighter, “Wait! You got the wrong idea, Tera! We were all in a rush to save you so we had to do whatever we could to get past these assholes! That’s why… Ermm… You know!”
Lea also nodded, “Mistress, your safety is our utmost priority so we will do whatever it takes to get to you, even if it meant fighting an entire gang by ourselves.”
“Well… That’s nice and all… But I would definitely prefer it if you girls didn’t put yourselves in more danger than necessary…”
“Saving Mistress is absolutely necessary,” Lea countered, prompting everyone else to nod their heads in unison.
Ries cleared her throat, changing the focus of the conversation, “Ahem… Ummm… Boss! The control panel is right here!”
Right… I guess there’s no point in arguing about it anyway.
We went over to the control panel which was a metallic panel beside the lift. And… It looked like someone hit it really hard with a hammer or something… In fact, I think the hammer that was used to hit it was laying right beside it on the floor…
Ries skipped over to the broken console and pried open the panel with what looked like a screwdriver before she pulled out wires from the panel and started working on them.
In less than a minute, the elevator hummed to life again.
Well, that’s convenient at– Ah.
The doors opened to reveal the piles of corpses inside.
Right… I forgot about that…
